Reports, Arrests and Citations

Incident Reports:

April 25th, LCSO responded to the 300 block of East Jackson Street in Chillicothe to assist on a medical call.  Deputy cleared shortly thereafter for a pending county call.

April 25th, LCSO responded to the intersection of LIV 236 and LIV 277 for a report of a motor vehicle accident.  The accident was determined to have occurred in Linn County and was referred to the Missouri State Highway Patrol for investigation.

April 26th, LCSO took a report of stealing occurring in the 20000 block of LIV 200.  Victim reported cash was missing from one of their vehicles and the investigation continues.

April 29th, LCSO took a report of trespassing and property damage in the 19000 block of LIV 312.  Incident report was completed to be kept on file for the reporting party.

 Arrests:

April 25th, deputy took Colby Jackson, 34, Chillicothe into custody at Livingston County Associate Court to serve a 5-day jail sentence for animal neglect on Case # 23LV-CR00475.  Jackson was transported to Caldwell County Detention Center to serve her time.

April 26th, deputy served a Livingston County arrest warrant on Charles Tipton, 28, Chillicothe for Case # 24LV-CR00196 at the Chillicothe Police Department.  Tipton was unable to post $10,000 cash bond and was transported to Caldwell County Detention Center.

April 29th, deputy observed a vehicle traveling at speeds between 98 MPH and 111 MPH in a 65 MPH zone on U.S. Highway 36 near LIV 261.  Subsequent traffic stop led to the arrest of Mikdad Hasib, 29, New York for exceeding the posted speed limit 26+.  Hasib posted $250 cash bond and was released on summons.

April 30th, deputy observed a vehicle traveling at excessive speeds on U.S. Highway 65 near LIV 439.  Traffic stop resulted in the arrest of Trea Hayes, 21, Chillicothe for DWI-Drugs and exceeding the posted speed limit.  Hayes was processed and released on summons to a sober party.

May 3rd, deputy responded to the 300 block of 4th Street in Ludlow in reference to a disturbance.  Investigation resulted in the arrest of Alfred Hyatt, 64, Ludlow for charges of assault and harassment.  Hyatt was processed and then transported to Caldwell County Detention Center on a 24-hour hold pending formal charges.

May 4th, deputy observed a vehicle traveling at an extremely high rate of speed on U.S. Highway 36 near LIV 233.  Subsequent traffic stop resulted in the arrest of McKenzy Dolan, 18, Trenton for exceeding the posted speed limit by 26+.  Dolan posted required bond and was released on summons.

 

Citations:

April 22nd, deputy issued a citation to Canada Turner, 21, Kansas City for exceeding the posted speed limit by 11-15 MPH.  Turner was checked at 80 MPH in a 65 MPH zone on U.S. Highway 36 near LIV 259.

April 22nd, deputy issued a citation to Landon Corwin, 22, Gallatin for exceeding the posted speed limit by 20-25 MPH.  Corwin was checked at 85 MPH in a 65 MPH zone on U.S. Highway 36 near the Grand River Bridge.
