Incident Reports:

March 24 LCSO deputy assisted a suicidal person and information was submitted to Crisis Intervention Team.

March 25 LCSO responded to a report of domestic disturbance over an infant child in the 3000 block of LIV 273.  Investigation showed the matter was only verbal but heated over the issue of the child custody.  There is no family court order in place and both persons were advised of steps needed for child custody, visitation and family plan with the court.

March 27 LCSO began investigation on report of drug distribution, burglary and theft from a location in Ludlow.  Victim claimed a friend must have placed methamphetamine in their red bull drink.  That when the victim left the residence the friend went to the home and stolen numerous items.  Matter is being looked into further.

March 29 LCSO began investigation after being notified that a vehicle was traveling on Route V and an occupant of that vehicle discharged a firearm from the vehicle.  Investigation resulted in the seizure of 2 weapons and information being submitted to the prosecuting attorney for consideration.

March 30 evening LCSO responded to location in south east part of the county on call of two men fighting.  The call was unfounded and had been called in by a person suffering from some type of illicit drug use and/or mental crisis.  Subject was taken to HMC and later sent to another facility for treatment.

March 30 LCSO deputy attended Child Advocacy Center interview in Trenton in an on-going investigation.

March 31 at 2:30 a.m. LCSO located an elderly driver on U.S. 36 who had travelled west in the east bound lanes from Brookfield.  The driver was also thought she was heading to Kirksville.  Problem solved and assistance provided.

Early morning March 31 deputy responded to U.S. 36 and LIV 261 for a single vehicle roll over crash.  The driver was not located and area searched by law enforcement and EMS.  Area hospitals did not have anyone come in for injuries.  One of the registered Kansas owners reportedly has an outstanding arrest warrant.  Investigation continues.

March 31 LCSO responded to a location in Chillicothe to assisted Chillicothe Police on a 911 call from a resident that 4 armed men just broke into his home.  It was determined there was no crime, no break in and no one armed.  CPD continuing with this.

April 01 early morning LCSO assisted the Chillicothe Police in searching for a stolen vehicle from a business in Chillicothe.  A deputy and the sheriff responded to western Livingston County to assist as the fire marshal's investigator had spotted the vehicle on Highway 190 at a high rate of speed.  The suspect allegedly tried to ram the Fire Marshal investigator in his state vehicle at a location in Daviess County.  LCSO responded into Daviess County to assist and the vehicle somehow eluded law enforcement in that area.  MSHP and Daviess County Sheriff continuing with investigation.

Added March 25:

Michael Wheeler, 51, Kansas City, wanted on Livingston County arrest warrant for alleged Failure to Appear in Court on original class E felony Non-Support, total arrears in excess of 12 monthly payments due under order of support. 

Tyler Gene Harper, 28, Branson, wanted on Livingston County arrest warrant for alleged Failure to Appear in Court on original class E felony Non-Support, total arrears in excess of 12 monthly payments due under order of support.  Mr. Harper surrendered to Benton County authorities on March 26 and was released on bond.  CANCEL.

Tibrucio V. Almojera, 38, Utica, wanted on Livingston County arrest warrant for alleged Failure to Appear in Court on original class E felony Non-Support, total arrears in excess of 12 monthly payments due under order of support.

Stacy Lynn Crist, 46, unknown address, wanted on Livingston County arrest warrant for alleged Failure to Appear in Court on original class D felony Possession of Controlled Substance-Methamphetamine. 

Harold Wayne Gregson, 58, Iowa, wanted on Livingston County arrest warrant for alleged class D felony Non-Support in each of 6 individual month within any twelve month period, amount owed in excess of $5,000. 

Jeffery Dwaine Morris, 48, Cameron, wanted on Livingston County arrest warrant for alleged class D felony Possession of Controlled Substance-Methamphetamine.

Added March 31 then arrested April 01 Jessica Lyn Corthon, 38, Hale, wanted on Livingston County arrest warrant for alleged class D felony Possession of Controlled Substance.  Surrendered to LCSO on April 01, 2021.

Added March 31 Terry B. Harper, 51, Brookfield, wanted on Livingston County arrest warrant for alleged class C felony Delivery of Controlled Substance.  Bond set at $7,500 cash.

Arrested March 31, Eric W. Suddith, 38, Chillicothe, surrendered to LCSO on Livingston County arrest warrant # 21LV-CR00119 for alleged child sex related offenses.  Mr. Suddith was processed and transferred to DDRJ in lieu of $250,000 bond.

 

Other Arrests:

March 29 LCSO arrested Trea Michil Hayes, 18, Chillicothe at the request of Caldwell County Court on probation violation.  Suspect turned over to Caldwell County deputy sheriff.

 

Zaki:

Deputy Leadbetter and Zaki recently assisted the Linn County Sheriff on a K-9 search at Linn County School(s).  See Linn County Sheriff for press release or additional information.

March 31 Zaki was summoned by the Missouri State Highway Patrol on a traffic stop over concern of drug(s) in the vehicle.  See MSHP for any additional details.

 

Citations:

March 27 at 9:13 p.m. a Gallatin driver was cited for 69 in a 55 on Highway 190 at LIV 233.

March 31 at 2:25 p.m. a St. Louis driver was cited for 88 in a 65 on U.S. 36 at LIV 261.

March 31 at 9:01 p.m. a Trenton driver was cited for 83 in a 60 on U.S. 65 near Chula Junction.

 

Additional Information:

LCSO remains short-handed due to medical leave from a work related injury and one vacant position.

Various fugitive and criminal investigations have been taking place with information being sent to agencies elsewhere in Missouri and out of state.

Admin staff have had recent meetings with E-911 dispatch on procedures with the court and LCSO on warrants, bonds, detainees and other information.

April 01 the LCSO had 39 people in custody.
