Reports and Arrests

Incident Reports:

February 29th, LCSO began an investigation of identity theft relating to a fraudulent credit card being opened in the victim's name.  Suspects have been identified and investigation continues.

March 7th, LCSO took a report in reference to a male on bond supervision attempting to falsify a urine analysis test.  Report to be forwarded to the Prosecuting Attorney for consideration of charges.

March 12th, LCSO responded to the 1000 block of Missouri Highway 190 in reference to a disturbance.  Ensuing investigation led to a Crisis Intervention Team Referral along with additional information on resources to aide against future instances provided to those involved.

March 13th, LCSO responded to the 4000 block of U.S. Highway 65 in reference to a missing person.  A brief investigation was conducted but the missing person returned home safe without further incident prior to further action being taken.

March 17th, LCSO responded to the 100 block of Leavell Street in Chula in reference to a domestic disturbance.  Investigation was completed and incident report to be forwarded to the Prosecuting Attorney for consideration of charges.

 

Arrests:

March 7th, deputy served a Livingston County Arrest Warrant for Probation Violation on Case # 21LC-CR00549-01 on Joshua Knouse in Livingston County Circuit Court.  Knouse remains incarcerated at Macon County.

March 15th, deputy was on patrol on U.S. Highway 36 near LIV 261 when they observed a vehicle traveling 93 MPH in a 65 MPH zone.  Traffic stop resulted in the arrest of Surya Sompalli, 20, of O'Fallon, Missouri for exceeding the posted speed limit by 26 or more.  Sompalli posted $250 cash bond and was released on summons.

March 18th, deputy served a Livingston County Arrest Warrant for failing to obey judge's orders for Case # 21LV-CR00255-01 on Nicholas Shipley at the Livingston County Courthouse.  Shipley was unable to post $1,500 cash bond and was transported to Caldwell County Detention Center.

March 19th, deputy arrested Kyle Bower in the 500 block of Corporate Drive in Chillicothe on a Livingston County Arrest Warrant for Case # 24LV-CR00119.  Bower was unable to post $2500 cash bond and was transported to Caldwell County Detention Center.

The Livingston County Sheriff's Office currently has 39 people in custody.
