Reports and Arrests

Incident Reports:

April 5th, deputy conducted a traffic stop on a pickup not bearing a front license plate in the 400 block of Washington Street resulting in Michael McCormick, 21, Breckenridge, being issued a citation for no insurance.  A Missouri license plate with an expiration of October 2018 was also seized to be returned to the Missouri Department of Revenue.

April 11th, LCSO began an investigation into an alleged sex offender living in a restricted area and failing to register a new address investigation continues.

April 11th, LCSO took a report of a forged check from a victim in Chula.  Investigation continues.

April 13th, LCSO responded to the 3rd Street Bottoms for a report of property damage to a pickup alleging to have been caused by gravel being thrown by another vehicle.  An incident report was taken to be kept on file for possible, future consideration of criminal charges.

April 16th, LCSO took a report of a dog bite occurring in the 7000 block of LIV 237.  The bite was from the reporting party's own dog.  Report was completed and forwarded to the Livingston County Health Department.

April 17th, LCSO received a report of property damage in the 100 block of Brick Road in Utica.  Incident report was completed to be kept on file and suspect remains unknown at this time.

April 17th, LCSO took a theft report from a property South of Ludlow of a piece of farm equipment.  Suspects are unknown at this time and the investigation continues.

April 20th, LCSO assisted Chillicothe Police Department in locating a suspect in a domestic disturbance.  LCSO was able to locate the individual in the 10000 block of LIV 2306.

 Arrests:

April 12th, deputy conducted a traffic stop on U.S. Highway 36 near State Highway C due to an equipment violation.  Traffic stop resulted in the arrest of Efrain Mendez on a Linn County Arrest Warrant for a past traffic violation.  Mendez posted the required bond and was released with a new Linn County, Missouri court date.

April 17th, deputy served a Caldwell County, Missouri arrest warrant on Jodi Greene, 24, Chillicothe, in the 2700 block of Washington Street in Chillicothe.  Greene was unable to post $500 bond on Caldwell County Case # 704271073 and was transferred to the custody of Caldwell County Sheriff's Office.

April 22nd, deputy conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle on U.S. Highway 65 South of Chillicothe resulting in the arrest of Shane Glasgow, 37, Chillicothe on outstanding warrants as well as for felony driving while revoked and possession of a controlled substance.  Glasgow was processed and transported to Caldwell County Detention Center.
