August 28 about 9:43 p.m. LCSO responded to the Chillicothe Grand River Access to assist the Conservation Agent on a request for backup. Investigation resulted in the arrest of a 46-year-old Polo man for alleged Unlawful Possession of a Firearm and Resisting Arrest when suspect reportedly attempted to flee from officers. Suspect has been charged with these two alleged felony crimes in Livingston County Associate Court and was released on bond August 30.
