Crime Map Details

November 12 about 10:15 p.m. a deputy heard gun shots west of Chillicothe and responded to the area.  A stationary pickup was found near LIV 233 and LIV 256 with its brake lights on.  Investigative stop revealed the driver was a juvenile and there was a strong odor or marijuana and intoxicants emitting from the pickup.  Further investigation showed a deputy witnessed one of the adult occupants attempt to conceal some of the marijuana by throwing it out of the vehicle.  No weapons were found in the vehicle.  Investigation resulted in the arrests of 2 adult men aged 21 and 24 for alleged Tampering with Evidence and Possession of Marijuana.  Both were processed at the Law Enforcement Center and released on summon(s).
