On July 26, we began an investigation of stealing from a property in Utica. The victim reported that upon returning home after being gone for a few days they discovered items missing which included landscaping timbers, 3 red and 7 blue camping chairs, 3 cattle panels, and 10x8 doge kennel. Investigation continues.
On July 27, we began an investigation of stealing near U.S. 36 and Route D. The victim reported the memorial cross being used to mark location along the highway had been stolen. Investigation continues.
On July 28 about 12:25 a.m. a deputy on patrol saw a vehicle sitting in a roadway near Avalon. The deputy reported seeing the vehicle drive off in a careless manner and he initiated a traffic stop. Further investigation resulted in the arrest of Gerald Daniel Crowe, 47, Avalon, for alleged Driving While Intoxicated. Mr. Crowe has since been released pending a mandatory Court appearance.
On July 28, a search of the jail resulted in the seizure of a bread sack containing 12 cigarettes and a lighter. Two female detainees were interviewed as suspects for the alleged criminal violation. A report is being submitted to the Prosecuting Attorney for consideration of criminal charges.
On July 29, we began an investigation of burglary and stealing of tools from an unoccupied dwelling in Chula. Investigation continues.
On July 29, we began an investigation of burglary and theft of tools, equipment, and a riding lawn mower at a location along Z highway near Dawn. Investigation continues.
On July 31, we began an investigation of reported trespassing at a residence north east of Chillicothe. The investigation shows a female entered a residence without permission in her attempt to locate a family member, who was not at that residence. A report is being submitted to the prosecuting attorney for consideration of criminal charges.
On August 02, we served a Livingston County arrest warrant on Bryon Pride, 51, Chillicothe for alleged Statutory Sodomy. Bond was set at $50,000 cash. This most recent investigation was conducted by the Chillicothe Police, Missouri Probation and Parole, and Children’s Division. On July 30, we served a Livingston County arrest warrant on Carissa Larine Price, 31, Chillicothe, for alleged Bond Violation on original charge of felony Forgery. Ms. Price was incarcerated in the Livingston County Jail in lieu of bond.
On July 25, we served a Livingston County arrest warrant on Kendoll Claude Hall, 28, Chillicothe, for alleged Assault 3rd Degree. Mr. Hall was incarcerated pending posting of bond.
This week we extradited August Quitman Large, 52, from the State of California Department of Corrections on a Livingston County Court order to complete a jail sentence in Livingston County on Child Molestation 2nd Degree convictions. Mr. Large is scheduled to be released from our custody on or about March 31, 2013.
On August 01, we began an investigation of harassing phone calls as a person has been repeatedly calling a lady’s cell phone and harassing her and her family. We are currently seeking cell phone records with a Court order to complete the investigation.
(Ricky J. Jorgensen) This week two people on our Most Wanted section of our website have been arrested. Authorities in Navajo County, Arizona have arrested Michael Donnell Bobo, 30, Arizona on the Livingston County arrest warrant for alleged Non-Support. And on August 02, Cameron Police arrested Ricky J. Jorgensen, 30, Braymer on a Livingston County arrest warrant for alleged Probation Violation on original conviction of Domestic Assault 2nd Degree. We extradited Mr. Jorgensen from the Cameron Police this morning.
Over the weekend a detainee was required to be placed in the restraint chair and in the padded cell due to their actions and threats. The detainee spent the remainder of the weekend in the padded cell until authorization to return the detainee to population was granted.
The LCSO has remained very busy with a variety of on-going criminal investigations, responding to calls for service, checking on people and animals, assisting in landlord-tenant disputes, handling Court security, assisting other agencies, and dealing with inmate activities in the jail.
