Alleged Day Time Burglar Caught!
On September 04, about 1:27 p.m. the Livingston County Sheriff’s Office (LCSO) E-911 Center received a call from a resident on Liv 238 where the caller reported they had just got home and believes that someone had recently been in their home and stolen some of their property.
Deputy Ryan Ford and Reserve Deputy Jay Cooksey were on scene in just a few minutes and one of the deputies located a man walking away from the area without a shirt on and appeared to be carrying something wrapped up with his shirt. The deputy began conversing with the man who suddenly tossed a bunch of prescription medications onto the ground and tried to kick them under the deputy’s patrol car. The deputy then arrested Mr. Erick Scott Manning, 20, Chillicothe and transported to the Livingston County Jail.
