August 31 the LCSO began investigation of unknown person(s) dumping large amounts of shingles and roofing materials in multiple locations in northwest part of Livingston County.

Investigation showed a local building had recently had roof work and the materials matched up with what had been done there.  It was determined a contractor had basically subcontracted all or part of this job and two juveniles involved had dumped the shingles.  The contractor was upset when he learned about the littering and worked with the various land owners and cleaned up the multiple locations.

Parent(s) are aware of what happened and information is being submitted to the juvenile office.
