On September 08 we investigated a report of animal abuse in Utica. The victim reported that a pack of dogs were roaming free and came onto her porch and killed a kitten. The deputy attempted to locate the owners of the animals. Even though there is not a leash law all animal owners are required to maintain adequate control of their pets and livestock.
On September 06 we took a report of a lost or stolen license plate from a resident near Dawn.
The LCSO staff has remained extremely busy with a variety of on going criminal investigations and calls for service.
Currently we have 40 detainees in custody at the Livingston County Jail.
