Reports, Arrests and Citations

Incident Reports:

August 3rd, deputies attempted to stop a vehicle traveling 91 MPH in a 65 MPH zone on U.S. Highway 36 near LIV 249 when the vehicle fled South on LIV 251 from U.S. 36 from deputies, wrecking into a ditch on LIV 240.  Investigation led to the arrest of Lane McCoy, 18, Chillicothe for resisting arrest and endangering the welfare of a child as a juvenile was found to have been in the vehicle at the time McCoy decided to flee.  McCoy was later transported to Caldwell County Detention Center and an arrest warrant ultimately came down from Livingston County Court.

August 11th, LCSO responded to the 3rd Street Bottoms in reference to a reported kidnapping attempt.  Investigation showed the incident turned out to be a prank devised by juveniles.  The juveniles and parents were counseled on the seriousness of falsely reporting such an occurrence.

August 14th, LCSO took a report of a potential scam taking place through social media.  Investigation shows explicit images were shared by the reporting party and an unknown individual resulting in the unknown individual threatening to blackmail the R.P. if they didn't send $300.  The unknown person was since blocked by the R.P. who requested a report be kept on file.

August 15th, deputies responded to 3000 block of LIV 408 in Mooresville in reference to an individual reported to be in crisis.  LCSO was able to contact the individual who was found to be OK.  A report was completed to provide further resources and assistance to the person.

August 15th, LCSO took a report of a stolen vehicle from the 10000 block of LIV 271 in Wheeling.  Keys to the vehicle were reported to have been left in the front seat of the vehicle being a black in color, Pontiac Grand Prix with front end damage (Missouri Registration JK2Z0S).  Investigation continues.

Arrests:

August 11th, Nathan Nozime, 34, Brookfield was arrested for driving while intoxicated on U.S. Highway 65 near U.S. Highway 36.  Nozime was processed and released on a summons to appear in Livingston County Court.

August 12th, Elinor Lopez, 55, Chillicothe was arrested in the 500 block of Jackson Street in Chillicothe on a Livingston County arrest warrant for Harassment 1st Degree.  Lopez was unable to post $5000 cash bond and was transported to Caldwell County Detention Center to await a court appearance on Case # 24LV-CR00395.

Citations:

August 2nd, Christy Cullen, 58, Mooresville, was issued a citation for traveling 82 MPH in a 65 MPH zone on U.S. Highway 36 at U.S. Highway 65.

August 3rd, Lynsie Vanderheide, 35, Illinois, was issued a citation for traveling 85 MPH in a 65 MPH zone on U.S. Highway 36 at LIV 261.

August 7th, Christopher Brannam, 42, Mooresville, was issued a citation for traveling 101 MPH in a 60 MPH zone on U.S. Highway 65 near LIV 206.

August 7th, Sarah Pegelow, 25, Chillicothe, was issued a citation for traveling 87 MPH in a 65 MPH zone on U.S. 36 near LIV 403.

August 13th, Ernest Trammell, 48, Indiana, was issued a citation for traveling 83 MPH in a 65 MPH zone on U.S. 36 near LIV 255.

August 13th, Samuel Willig, 22, Kansas City, was issued a citation for traveling 85 MPH in a 65 MPH zone on U.S. 36 near LIV 255.

August 13th, Daniel Gebray, 43, Texas, was issued a citation for traveling 83 MPH in a 65 MPH zone on U.S. 36 near the Linn/Livingston County Line.
