For December 2012 we set an all time high for citizens using the Livingston County Sheriff’s Office website at www.livcoso.org.
We logged 9,577 unique IP addresses visit our website for a total of 31,757 visits or an average of 3.31 visits per IP address. Those who accessed our website reviewed a total of 344,925 pages on that site and the busiest time of day was between 4p.m. and 5p.m. and the most active day of the week being Thursdays.
The previous record for users was set in November 2012 with a total of 8,516 unique IP addresses visiting our website.
We continue to receive a variety of tips and other information from the public regarding criminal activity, information on MOST WANTED persons, and a variety of other questions and input from the public through our website.
We greatly appreciate all those who keep up with our activities and share their information and stories and also the many people who have “liked” us on Facebook! We will continue to share our open public information with our community in attempts to make our communities safer and reduce crime.
