The LCSO began investigating a report of possible sexual misconduct at a location in the western part of Livingston County.  We were assisted by the Division of Family Services and further investigation is continuing in attempt to determine if anything illegal took place.


October 08 we began an investigation of theft of a firearm and ammunition.  The victim reports the crime took place between August 28 and the last week of September.  The firearm and ammunition was removed from a Ford pickup, possibly while parked at the farm.  The weapon is described as a black colored Lama .380 with nylon holster and 2 magazines.


October 09 we investigated a complaint from a bus driver for the South West School District regarding two vehicles allegedly driving in a careless and imprudent manner around the school bus.  One of the vehicles is reported to have nearly rear-ended the school bus and then passed the bus while stopped and loading/unloading children.  The other vehicle was reported to have pulled into the path of the bus and then spun its tires in a reckless manner.  The deputy located both drivers and issued both drivers a citation.


October 09 deputies investigated a situation in Ludlow and arrested Christina Kennedy-Webster, 28, Ludlow for alleged possession of synthetic marijuana and drug paraphernalia.  Additional investigation is continuing.

Answer:  98.3% of the responses said “Yes”.


Note:  The Livingston County Sheriff’s Office has our staff attended an advanced 40 plus hour Emergency Vehicle Operations Course and attend additional vehicle and emergency vehicle classes.


Question:  How concerned are you with the Federal Government being partially shut down?


Answers:  26% responded being Very Concerned

                 36 % responded as Moderately Concerned

                 18% replied It Will Work Out.

                 20% were Not At All Concerned
