Today we received information of a potential scam taking place in rural Livingston County.  On the evening of November 06 a rural resident was approached by 2 men requesting to speak with him about insurance and both men were quickly turned away.  Both men later returned to the same home and were very insistent and claimed they HAD to discuss this with him.  The men had a map and were portraying to be from the government, fortunately both men were once again turned away.  The citizen was very concerned these two men were operating a scam and wanted personal information.

There is nothing about Obamacare which mandates you as a citizen to have to sit down and speak with anyone that comes to your home.  It is far better to be safe and secure.  If you have insurance questions the best advice is to speak with an insurance agent of YOUR choice.

Be Safe, Be Educated, and Stay Informed.
