January 22 School Resource Officer/Reserve Deputy Sheriff Mike Lewis filed a report with our office regarding an incident at Chillicothe High School. Allegedly 2 juveniles got into an altercation. The parents and juvenile officer were notified and involved. The school is taking administrative action and the juvenile office remains involved.
January 22 a deputy stopped a vehicle after it failed to stop for a stop sign/signal and issued the drive a citation for alleged driving while suspended and failure to stop.
January 22 we began an investigation of theft from a location in the 10000 block of Liv 410 where duck and goose decoys were stolen. Investigation continues.
January 23 a deputy issued a Kansas City man citations for alleged speeding 16-19 over the posted limit and for Driving while Suspended/Revoked.
January 28 a theft of a 20’ aluminum extension ladder being stolen from a location in Ludlow was received. Investigation continues.
January 30 a deputy was working traffic near Ludlow and cited a Ludlow man for alleged driving while suspended.
January 25 a deputy traced down the location of a Most Wanted fugitive and arrested Joseph Wesley Story, 25, Chillicothe in the 500 block of Graves Street. Mr. Story was arrested on a Livingston County warrant for alleged Probation Violation on original conviction of class C felony Possession of Controlled substance. Bond was denied by the Court and Story was transferred to the Daviess Dekalb County Regional Jail.
January 23 a deputy arrested Travis Lee Donoho, 25, Utica on a Sullivan County arrest warrant for alleged traffic warrant on a registration and seat belt violation. Mr. Donoho posted the bond of $149.00 and was released.
January 23 a deputy and CPD officer served a Livingston County arrest warrant on Vernon Wayne Hines, 26, Chillicothe for alleged Probation Violation on original conviction of class C felony Possession of Controlled Substance. Court denied bond and Mr. Hines was transferred to the DDCRJ.

Currently the LCSO is holding 40 detainees in the Daviess Dekalb County Regional Jail, 14 of which are female detainees.
