9-9 LCSO responded to a domestic violence investigation in Ludlow. Investigation revealed no physical assault but only verbal disturbance. A deputy assisted one person with a ride to Chillicothe.
9-14 property damage was reported in the arear of Route V and Route K where a parked vehicle received a flat tire. Upon examination the tire was flattened from being shot by a projectile. Investigation continues.
9-15 a report was completed as an Indiana man failed to appear in Livingston County Associate Court. The prosecutor is expected to file an additional charge.
9-18 a deputy was assigned to assist the Missouri State Fire Marshall Investigator in attempting to determine the cause of a house fire on Liv 408. Nothing suspicious was determined.
9-18 an investigation of property damage to a parked vehicle in Chula began. Unknown person(s) scratched profanity into the paint of the car. Investigation continues.
9-18 a well-being check was conducted at Chula regarding a small child. Nothing improper was found.
9-18 deputy began investigation into theft of gasoline and a circular saw from a location in Chula. Victim reported fuel stolen from 2 parked vehicles. Investigation continues.
9-22 LCSO began an investigation of theft from FEC as unknown persons cut and removed the ground wiring from several utility poles along Liv 401. Investigation continues.
9-22 LCSO began an investigation of reported Identity Theft and Fraud to a Dawn resident. The victim's identity was used in the State of Oklahoma where a suspect obtained services in excess of $2,000.nvestigation Continues.
9-23 Sex Offender Registration Violation investigate report is being submitted to Prosecuting Attorney Adam Warren for consideration after obtaining information a registered person was not timely reporting all required information.
9-9 LCSO arrested Zackery Ryan Bonnett on a Livingston County arrest warrant for alleged controlled substance violation near school. Mr. Bonnett was transferred to DDCRJ in lieu of bond.
9-14 LCSO arrested Jason Wayne Hubbard, 33, Chillicothe on a Livingston County arrest warrant for alleged Probation Violation on original conviction of class C felony Theft/Stealing Any Firearm. Bond was denied by the Court and Mr. Hubbard was transferred to DDCRJ.
9-23 the LCSO and DDCRJ had 31 detainees appear in Livingston County Associate Circuit Court.
Last weekend Sheriff Cox was given the honor of assisting in leading the Kiwanis Kids Day Parade in Chillicothe and leading the Chula Street Fair Parade.
Currently the LCSO has 53 persons incarcerated in the Daviess Dekalb County Regional Jail with 19 of those being female detainees.
