The LCSO has identified persons of interest with the recent photos we placed on our website of a Burglary in the south east part of Livingston County. One person has been arrested on unrelated charge(s) and been interviewed by LCSO staff. We are continuing to work with law enforcement from Carroll County, Cass County, Chariton County, Clay County, Jackson County, and the Missouri State Highway Patrol Rural Crimes Task Force on this and other similar crimes. We appreciate all the tips which poured in.
December 02 LCSO began an investigation of trespassing, property damage, and stealing fuel at a location in Utica. A Church bus had been tampered with and a lock broken, gasoline was reported missing from vehicle. Investigation continues.
November 30 LCSO investigated report of several large hay bales missing from property. Investigation shows MODOT moved these as they had been sitting on highway right-of-way. Owner notified and investigation closed.
November 27 LCSO and CDES responded to a call in the northwest part of Livingston County of an unresponsive male. Preliminary investigation shows elderly male was deceased due to natural causes. Our thoughts and prayers remain with the family and loved ones.
November 27 the LCSO and Missouri State Highway Patrol responded to a location in the southern part of Livingston County on a call of attempted suicide. The investigation revealed no threats or acts of attempted suicide took place and the matter was a domestic disagreement.
November 24 Victim reported 2017 license plate sticker tabs stolen from vehicle in Ludlow. Alert placed with Department of Revenue.
November 21 LCSO responded to a call on Liv 529 regarding complaint about the roadway and reported damage to the area.
December 01 the LCSO arrested Lisa Hollingsworth, 33, Utica on a Livingston County arrest warrant for alleged Probation Violation on original conviction of class D felony Stealing. Bond was initially denied by the Court.
November 30 LCSO arrested Mark Wesley Stephenson, 64, Chillicothe, on a Livingston County arrest warrant for alleged Violation of Bond Conditions on original class B felony allegation of Controlled Substance violation. Bond was initially set at $25,000 cash by the Court.
November 30 LCSO arrested Stephanie Dawn Wilson, 36, Chillicothe on a Livingston County arrest warrant for alleged Violation of Bond Conditions on original charge of alleged class C felony Burglary 2nd degree. Bond was initially placed at $25,000 by the Court.
November 30 LCSO served a Pettis County arrest warrant on Joseph Erick Sistanich, 34, Chillicothe for alleged class A misdemeanor of Harassment. Mr. Sistanich was unable to post bond and was transferred to the Daviess Dekalb County Regional Jail pending extradition by Pettis County.
November 24 LCSO arrested Joshua Christopher Caudill, 27, Chillicothe, on a Livingston County arrest warrant for alleged Probation Violation on original conviction of class A misdemeanor Theft/Stealing. The Court denied bond on the warrant and Mr. Caudill was transferred to Daviess Dekalb County Regional Jail.
November 24 LCSO arrested Mark Justin Jennings, 25, Chillicothe, on a Livingston County arrest warrant for a minor vehicle equipment violation. Mr. Jennings posted the $100 bond and was given a new Court date to appear.
November 22 the LCSO arrested Dylan Alexander Wheeler, 20, Chillicothe on a Livingston County arrest warrant for alleged Probation Violation on an original conviction of class C felony Possession of Controlled Substance. Mr. Wheeler was transferred to the Daviess Dekalb County Regional Jail as no bond was permitted by the Court.
November 21 LCSO deputy stopped a semi on U.S. 36 and subsequently arrested John Patrick Scott, 33, Kentucky on 2 St. Charles County arrest warrants for failing to appear in Court.
November 18 the LCSO arrested Timothy Allen Stark, 34, Chillicothe, on a Livingston County arrest warrant after Mr. Stark surrendered to the LCSO on alleged 3 counts class A misdemeanor criminal non-support. Mr. Stark posted bond and was released pending Court appearance.
This week the LCSO has been very busy with bailiff duty on multiple floors of Court and with having Metal Detector duty for additional Court security.
The LCSO currently has 55 persons in custody at the Daviess Dekalb County Regional Jail 21 of which are female detainees. When the Livingston County Jail was open we had a 48 bed jail with only 12 beds for women.
