On August 06 the Livingston County Sheriff’s Office (LCSO) was summoned to Avalon regarding possible trespassing by several people on private property. Detective Ryan Ford responded and found several people at the described located.
Further investigation resulted in the seizure of a significant amount of suspected Methamphetamine, additional packages of suspected Diazepam, and 2 packages of marijuana. All the items were packaged for immediate sale. Additional item(s) were also seized from the scene.
Preliminary investigation led to the arrest of Tresa L. Wilson, 51, Chillicothe for alleged Drug Distribution and/or Possession with Intent to Distribute Controlled Substances. Ms. Wilson was taken to the LCSO where she was interviewed and transferred to the Daviess Dekalb County Regional Jail. Ms. Wilson has since been charged in Livingston County Associate Circuit Court with alleged 2 class C felony counts of Delivery of Controlled Substance. Ms. Wilson remains incarcerated in lieu of $5,000 cash bond.
Additional investigation has and is taking place with potential additional arrests pending. These people stopped by the location in Avalon and were planning on traveling to a specific location in Bedford.
The LCSO was assisted by the Missouri State Highway Patrol. Good work by all involved.
