Cynthia Renee Periman
October 18 the LCSO began an investigation at a residence on Old Highway 190. Investigation shows forced entry into the residence while no one was home. Victim reported a television, Play Station 4 and controller, head phones, small amount of cash, a bed mattress, and prescription medication as being stolen from the home.
Subsequent investigation lead to interviewing an adult at a residence in Chillicothe. Subsequent search of that home resulted in the collection of most of the stolen property. The investigation also lead to the arrest of Cynthia Renee Periman, 29, Chillicothe for the alleged Burglary, Stealing, and Theft of Controlled Substance.
Ms. Periman allegedly had a juvenile with her and was assisted by the juvenile. That person has been interviewed with the juvenile officer and parent. The juvenile office will handle that end of the case while Livingston County Prosecuting Attorney Adam Warren handles the adult criminal prosecution.
Ms. Periman was transferred to the Daviess Dekalb County Regional Jail. Ms. Periman has since been charged in Livingston County Associate Court with the alleged Burglary 2nd Degree and bond was originally placed at $25,000.
Great job by Detective Ryan Ford and the LCSO staff for solving this case and getting property returned to the owner.
