2 Incidents of Lost or Stolen Cattle in County

03/01/2018

Two incidents of lost or stolen cattle were reported to the LCSO on or about February 26, 2018.

  • Angus bull weighing about 2100 pounds with ear tag #59 from a location in the Dawn area.
  • A cow and calf were reported missing from the very north east area of the county. The owner had been feeding the cattle at night for several days and noticed on February 26 the pair were gone from the pasture. The cow is described as black in color, smaller weighing around 1100 pounds with an ear tag in the left ear. The bull calf is also black and would be just over 2 weeks old now.

Anyone with information on the possible location of the lost or stolen cattle are asked to call the LCSO at 660-646-0515, dispatch at 660-646-2121, or submit a non-urgent Crime TIP through our website at www.livcoso.org.
