Incidents:

March 11 the LCSO responded to a disturbance call in Utica where at least one adult was intoxicated and a juvenile reported being in fear of the parent and/or others at the home. Lengthy time was spent in helping resolve this matter and it was agreed the juvenile would temporarily stay with a different relative. Juvenile office had been contacted that night and no arrests were made.

March 12 the LCSO dealt with multiple calls from several people regarding the incident on March 11.

March 13 the LCSO investigated a report of a disturbance in Ludlow and a juvenile allegedly was refusing to go home. Matter investigated and no criminal violations found. Family referred to juvenile authorities and counseling opportunities.

March 14 the LCSO responded to a verbal domestic disturbance call in Utica. No evidence of any criminal act was found. The male agreed to leave the property for a period of time.

Early morning March 14 the LCSO responded to a call of a horse out near U.S. 65 and Avalon Junction. It was found a motorist had struck the horse, damage was caused to the vehicle, the horse was deceased and off the roadway, and the animal owner was present.

 

Most Wanted Fugitive Updates:

March 11 Atlanta Elise Williams, 22, unknown address, was arrested by authorities in Oklahoma on a Livingston County felony arrest warrant for alleged Forgery. Ms. Williams has been a fugitive since June 28, 2017. Ms. Williams will be extradited to Livingston County at the first opportunity.

March 13 Ryann Nicholle Gatson, 36, Chillicothe was arrested by Clinton County authorities on a Livingston County arrest warrant for alleged Probation Violation on an original charge of felony drug violation. Ms. Gatson has been a fugitive since January 12, 2018.

March 14 Charles Brandon Collins, 35, Chillicothe was arrested on a Livingston County warrant for alleged Probation Violation on original felony drug violation. Arrest took place with the CPD. Mr. Collins has been a fugitive since January 03, 2018.

March 15 we added Scott Elliott Robinson, 38, Wheeling for alleged Probation Violation on an original class C felony Passing Bad Check-$500 or more-No Account/Insufficient Funds. Bond was denied by the Court on case 16LV-Cr00188-01 with the warrant dated March 12, 2018.

 

Additional Information:

March 13 the LCSO had 14 detainees appear in Livingston County Court.

The LCSO has been busy with a variety of on-going criminal investigations, handling bailiff and court house security duty Monday and Tuesday, and assisting other agencies.

The LCSO has been shorthanded due to continued unfilled deputy vacancies, sick leave, mandatory training, and 1 employee on vacation leave.

Currently the LCSO has 28 people in custody at the Daviess Dekalb County Regional Jail, 5 of which are female detainees.

March 14 Sheriff Cox attended the Wheeling town meeting where area information was exchanged with those in attendance.
