Incidents, Arrests, Most Wanted, Citations, and MORE

Incidents:

 

May 21 the LCSO began an investigation of indirect harassment and threats to a person in Livingston County. The suspect has been identified and has since stopped the harassment.

May 23 the LCSO began an investigation of Harassment/Stalking where the reported victim claims an adult male have been harassing and stalking her. Information has been collected and is being submitted to the prosecuting attorney for consideration of charge(s).

May 24 the LCSO began an investigation of a lost or stolen wallet and possible residential burglary in the 24,000 block of Liv 389. LCSO staff assisted on a search of the property for the wallet which contained personal items and a small amount of cash. No signs of forced entry were noted and investigation continues.

June 02 the LCSO followed up with a drug investigation at a location in Ludlow. A search of the home resulted in the seizure of drug paraphernalia and that evidence will be sent to the Missouri State Highway Patrol Crime Lab for analysis. Criminal charge(s) are pending the lab results.

The LCSO has multiple other investigations on-going at this time and hope to have future public information release(s).

 

Arrests:

May 22 the LCSO arrested Andrea Michelle Wilson, 41, Chillicothe on a Grundy County arrest warrant for alleged Failing to Appear in Court on a minor traffic citation. Ms. Wilson was turned over to the Grundy County Sheriff for bonding or booking.

May 24 the LCSO located and arrested Jazmine Marie McCallum, 21, Trenton on a Grundy County arrest warrant for alleged Failure to Appear in Court on Probation Violation-Assault. Ms. McCallum was transferred to the custody of the Grundy County Sheriff.

May 28 the LCSO and Chillicothe PD went to a location in Chillicothe on a follow-up criminal investigation. There we arrested Shawn W. Heaton, 41, on a Probation/Parole Absconder warrant. According to information sent by State of Missouri, Mr. Heaton is on probation/parole for felony Unlawful Use of a Weapon and Kidnapping-Facilitating a Felony. Mr. Heaton was transferred to the Daviess Dekalb County Regional Jail on the no bond allowed warrant.

May 28 the LCSO made a traffic stop on U.S. 36 and subsequently arrested Victoria Shanese Wright Coleman, 25, Riverside, MO for alleged 90 in a 65 and Driving While Suspended-2nd offense. Ms. Coleman was processed at the LCSO and was released on summons to appear in court on July 11.

May 29 the LCSO served a Probation/Parole arrest warrant on George Steven Allen, 58, Chillicothe. State papers provided to the LCSO show Mr. Allen is on probation/parole for Possession of Controlled Substance-Methamphetamine. Mr. Allen was transferred to the Daviess Dekalb County Regional Jail in lieu of bond.

May 30 the LCSO served a Livingston County Probation Violation arrest warrant on Aaron M. Tripp, 30, Chula for alleged probation violation on original charge of class C felony Unlawful Possession of a Firearm. Bond was denied by the court and Mr. Tripp was transferred to the Daviess Dekalb County Regional Jail.

June 02 a deputy made a vehicle stop in Chula for a traffic violation(s) and subsequently arrested Christa J. Tate, 26, Trenton for alleged DWI and traffic violation. Ms. Tate was processed at the Chillicothe Police Department and released on summons to appear in Court on July 11, 2018.

June 02 a motorcyclist was checked on south U.S. 65 and stopped for 80 in a 60. The suspect, Thomas Michael Haughton, 45, Chillicothe was arrested and later cited for the alleged speeding violation, no motorcycle license, and failing to comply with interlock ignition requirements on a vehicle. Mr. Haughton was released on the citations to appear in court on July 11, 2018.

June 06 the LCSO arrested Jackie Lee Potter, 40, Kirksville, on an Adair County arrest warrant on a minor traffic offense. Mr. Potter posted the $50 bond and was released.

June 06 the LCSO arrested Brian Shawn Alexander, 46, Chillicothe, on a Livingston County arrest warrant for alleged Violation of Bond Conditions on original felony allegation of Receiving Stolen Property. Mr. Alexander was transferred to the Daviess Dekalb County Regional Jail in lieu of $25,000 bond.

  

Most Wanted:

Arrested: June 05, 2018 Joseph Robert Gulli, 29, by Rush County Kansas Sheriff. Gulli is wanted on a Livingston County arrest warrant for alleged Failure to Obey a Judge’s Order on original charge of felony Controlled Substance Violation. Mr. Gulli has been a fugitive from Livingston County since November 2016.

June 05 Matthew Brett Curtis, 37, Chillicothe, surrendered to the Chillicothe Police on a Livingston County arrest warrant for alleged Failure to Obey a Judge’s Order on Bond Conditions on original allegation of felony DWI-Physical Injury. Mr. Curtis was transferred to the Daviess Dekalb County Regional Jail in lieu of bond.

 

Citations:

LCSO staff have been working a few hours on traffic enforcement through traffic grant overtime and other opportunities when available. Traffic enforcement has taken place all over the county and these are the citations which were issued, additionally many warnings were given to drivers for a variety of violations.

May 26 a citation was issued to a Brookfield driver for no vehicle insurance on a traffic stop.

May 27 a speeding citation was issued to a New Mexico driver for 20 over the speed limit.

May 28 a speeding citation was issued to a Chillicothe driver for 11 over in Chula.

May 28 a speeding citation was issued to an Indiana driver for 16 over the speed limit.

May 28 a speeding citation was issued to a St. Louis driver for 13 over the limit.

May 28 a speeding citation was issued to a Kansas City driver for 15 over the speed limit.

May 30 a speeding citation was issued to a Chillicothe driver for 24 over the speed limit.

June 01 a speeding citation was issued to a Columbia driver for 25 over the speed limit.

June 01 a speeding citation was issued to a Trenton driver for 21 over the speed limit.

June 02 a speeding citation was issued to an Illinois driver for 25 over the speed limit.

June 03 speeding citation issued to St. Joseph driver for 22 over the speed limit.

June 04 speeding citation issued to a Centertown driver for 21 over the speed limit.

June 05 a speeding citation was issued to a Kansas driver for 15 over the speed limit.

June 06 a speeding citation was issued to an Illinois driver for 21 over the speed limit.

 

Additional Information:

The ability for our office to access and update our website has been down for several days. We had an IT issue that has since been resolved.

June 05 the LCSO applied for reimbursement from the State of Missouri for $1,584.70 in extradition expenses of extraditing Terry Andruszczak from the Walker County Texas Jail. Mr. Andruszczak was charged with felony crime(s) in Livingston County.

June 06 the LCSO had a long day in Court. We conducted court security from 8:00 am until 7:15 pm. Judge Valbracht saw 23 detainees plus numerous people appearing in court. Judge Chapman had a lengthy civil case that lasted until after 7:00 p.m.

Currently the LCSO has 35 people in custody at the Daviess Dekalb County Regional Jail, 6 of which are female detainees.
