Incidents, Arrests, Citations, and MORE

 

Incidents:

June 07 the LCSO began an investigation of fraud and a potential weapon offense. A local person allegedly prohibited from possessing a firearm attempted to obtain a firearm at a local establishment. Investigation continues.

June 08 the LCSO completed an incident report for alleged Obstruction of Justice for alleged failing to appear in court on original charges of speeding and second or third offense of driving while suspended/revoked. Additional charges are expected.

June 12 the LCSO and Missouri State Highway Patrol responded to a location in Wheeling regarding notification from a crisis hotline of a potential suicidal person. The officers were assisted by CDES in getting the individual to a treatment facility. There were no injuries.

 

Arrests:

June 11 the LCSO arrested Ronald Lee Biswell, 41, Chula on 2 Livingston County arrest warrants for alleged Failing to Appear in Court on an excessive speed citation and a citation on Driving While Revoked/Suspended.   Mr. Biswell posted the $750 cash bond and was released pending court appearance.

June 13 the LCSO arrested Adam Daniel Caudill, 31, Wheeling, on a Livingston County arrest warrant for alleged felony stealing. Bond was set at $46,000 cash on case #18LV-CR00284 and Mr. Caudill was transferred to the custody of the Daviess Dekalb County Regional Jail in lieu of bond. This case stems from a joint communication and investigation by the LCSO and Chillicothe PD.

 

Most Wanted Arrested:

June 09, 2018 by LCSO and CPD, Charles Robert Smith, 33, Chillicothe for alleged probation violation on original charge of felony drug possession. Mr. Smith had been a fugitive since May 21, 2018.

 

Most Wanted Added:

June 11 Jeffery Gordon Davenport, 34, Chillicothe, wanted on Livingston County arrest warrant for alleged Violation of Bond Conditions on original charge of felony drug possession. Warrant was issued June 11, 2018.

June 12 Donald Lee Graybeal, 54, Laredo, wanted on Livingston County arrest warrant for alleged class B felony DWI-Habitual Offender. Warrant issued June 11, 2018.

June 13 added Sommer Ann Brewster, 21, Kansas City, wanted on Livingston County warrant for alleged class E felony Probation Violation on original Delivery of less than 35 grams marijuana or synthetic cannabinoid. Warrant issued June 12, 2018.

June 13 added Zachary Ryan Kerns, alleged Violation of Bond Conditions on original felony allegation of drug possession. Warrant issued June 12, 2018.

 

Citations:

June 08 a speeding citation was issued to an Indiana driver for 12 over the speed limit.

June 08 a speeding citation was issued to a Washington driver for 13 over the speed limit.

June 08 a speeding citation was issued to a Raytown driver for 24 over the speed limit.

June 12 a citation for failing to stop at a stop sign was issued to a Chillicothe resident for violation on Route V.

June 13 a speeding citation was issued to a Hannibal driver for 15 over the speed limit.

 

Additional Information:

The LCSO applied for reimbursement from the State of Missouri for $635.60 for an out-of-state extradition on RL Glenn Selvie from the Cook County Jail in Illinois on a Livingston County arrest warrant.

April 30 through May 31 the LCSO spent $2,461.41 in fuel for the patrol vehicles.

The LCSO has been busy with assisting other agencies on criminal investigations and traffic accidents, assisting several citizens with variety of needs, court and court security, local criminal and fugitive investigations, and working on many other issues.

Currently the LCSO has 43 people in custody at the Daviess Dekalb County Regional Jail, 9 of which are female detainees.

The LCSO had 13 detainees appear in Circuit Court on Tuesday before Judge Thomas Chapman for Criminal Law Day.
