Incidents:

The LCSO has completed a somewhat lengthy investigation into an incident during May in Wheeling. Incident was reported as an angry man displaying a handgun in the presence of others and threatening one or more people. Various people were interviewed and the report is being submitted to the prosecuting attorney for consideration of various charges.

June 20 the LCSO began helping a Utica resident on the use of a lost or stolen debit card. The card had been used multiple times in Ray County, Missouri. The LCSO is sharing information with the Ray County Sheriff for additional investigation.

June 20 the LCSO began an investigation where a Wheeling resident reported neighbor/landlord disturbing the peace of the reporting victim. Investigation has continued with multiple other calls/complaints about and/or from the listed suspect. Information being submitted to the prosecuting attorney for consideration.

June 27 the LCSO began an investigation of a reported sex offender registration violation. That information has since been corrected and a report will be submitted to the prosecuting attorney for consideration of charges.

June 22 the LCSO began an investigation of felony stealing from a residence in the 10000 block of Liv 237. Victim reported known persons had been staying with victim and removed certain items valued at $1,160 were unlawfully removed from the home. A search for the 2 suspects continues and may have left the state. Investigation continues.

June 26 the LCSO completed 2 incident reports requesting additional charges on 2 persons that failed to appear in Livingston County Court on June 20.

June 27 an investigation or trespassing and property damage was investigated in the 5000 block of Liv 512. The suspect was on the property and the person in control of the property was uncertain about prosecution at that time. Suspect left the property.

June 27 ZAKI assisted as the LCSO responded to the 400 block of Clay Street on a warrant service and drug investigation. Zaki gave positive indication on a vehicle and this resulted in the seizure of suspected methamphetamine and led to the arrest of Cara Ann Hagler, 25, Chillicothe for alleged felony Possession of Controlled Substance. Ms. Hagler was released to Trenton PD on a Trenton Municipal warrant. The evidence will be sent to the Missouri State Highway Patrol Crime Lab for examination.

July 4 the LCSO completed an assault investigation reported on June 13.

A drug investigation that began on May 28 has been completed. The Missouri State Highway Patrol Crime Lab has identified the evidence as containing methamphetamine and marijuana. A report will be submitted to the prosecuting attorney for consideration of charges.

 

Most Wanted Updates:

Stevie W. Gregory was arrested June 29 by authorities in Wayne County, Kentucky, wanted in Livingston County for alleged class C felony of Stealing Leased or Rented Property. Mr. Gregory had been a fugitive since April 19, 2018.

Nathaniel B. Novotny, 31, Chillicothe was arrested June 29 on a Livingston County arrest warrant for alleged class D felony stealing. Mr. Novotny had been wanted since June 21, 2018.

Jonathan S. Robison, 28, Brookfield was arrested July 02 by Brookfield PD on a Livingston County arrest warrant for alleged Probation Violation on original felony allegation of Assault. Mr. Robison had been a fugitive since June 26.

 

Arrests:

June 26 the LCSO stopped a vehicle for not having head lights on at 10:42 p.m. and subsequently arrested Julia Anne Livengood, 32, Chillicothe, for alleged DWI and Driving without Headlamps. Ms. Livengood was processed, cited and has a pending court date of July 25, 2018.

 

Citations:

June 30 a Kansas City driver was issued a speeding citation for 22 over.

July 01 a speeding citation was issued to an O’Fallon driver for 21 over.

July 01 a speeding citation was issued to a St. Joseph driver for 18 over.

July 01 a speeding citation was issued to an Iowa driver for 21 over.

July 01 a speeding citation was issued to an Ohio driver for 23 over.

July 02 a speeding citation was issued to an Illinois driver for 12 over.

July 02 a speeding citation was issued to a Braymer driver for 22 over.

July 02 a speeding citation was issued to an Illinois driver for 24 over.

July 04 a speeding citation was issued to a Kansas City driver for 21 over.

 

Additional Information:

June 21 the LCSO caused Joseph Gulli to be extradited from Traco County, Kansas on a Livingston County arrest warrant for alleged Failing to Obey a Judge’s Order on a felony drug possession charge. The LCSO is also seeking reimbursement of $408.10 in allowable extradition expenses of extraditing Mr. Gulli from the State of Missouri. This reimbursement will go to the Livingston County revenues for 2018.

Currently the LCSO is holding 45 detainees in the Daviess Dekalb County Regional Jail, 8 of which are females.

The LCSO has remained very busy assisting other agencies, court requirements, assisting motorists, and with investigations.
