Speeding and Running Gets Man Tripped Up

08/17/2018

August 13, 2018 about 11:26 p.m. Deputy Minnis and Deputy Woelfle were on patrol near Utica and checked a vehicle at 85 mph and the driver was refusing to stop once he pulled into Utica. When the driver did stop in the area of Cornelia Street he fled his vehicle and ran from the deputies. The suspect was not complying with verbal commands and continued to run until he tripped over something and still continued to refuse commands during the incident.

The deputies arrested Bradley Aaron Case, 42, Chillicothe on Camden County arrest warrant for alleged class D felony Unlawful Possession of a Firearm, class A misdemeanor Resisting/Interfering with Arrest, and class D misdemeanor Unlawful Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.

Mr. Case was transferred to the DDCRJ pending pickup by Camden County. Mr. Case may be facing additional charges soon in Livingston County to include Resisting Arrest, Driving While Suspended/Revoked and Excessive Speed.

The deputies did an excellent job with this arrest.
