The Livingston County Sheriff’s Office (LCSO) is continuing with our annual Secret Santa Project. In 2011 the sheriff and deputies began this program and each year we obtain donations from some great people and area businesses which has allowed us to help those who are having a very difficult time in their life from uncontrollable situations.
Our goal is to help kind-hearted people with a hand up, show that good things happen to good people, and share our love and friendship with many.
We have seen people smile who were on their death bed, we have brought joy and tears to children, helped seniors that were suffering from illness, have basic necessities, or even without the ability to keep warm and were too proud to ask anyone for anything.
This program has allowed all of our staff to learn a great deal about life and the many good people we work for. I have even seen many tears from the eyes of all of us at the LCSO.
We are hopeful we can partner with you for financial support of this program and if you wish to contribute please send a check or money order to the LCSO-Secret Santa, 901 Webster Street, Chillicothe, MO 64601 with attention to Sheriff Cox or Captain Sindy Thomas. Donations are tax deductible courtesy of Concerned Citizens for the Community, Inc. which is a 501 c(3) organization. Please include a return name and address if possible. Please call Steve Cox or Sindy Thomas at 660-646-0515 if you have any questions or comments.
