Seeking Information on Serious Criminal Investigation

The Missouri State Fire Marshal's Office is actively investigating a fire that occurred on October 29, 2018 just south of Chillicothe at the railroad bridge that crosses the Grand River. This investigation is being conducted jointly by the Missouri State Fire Marshal's Office, Livingston County Sheriff's Department, Chillicothe Fire Department, Canadian Pacific Railroad Police and the FBI. The fire was intentionally set and we are seeking assistance from the public. If you were in the area of the Grand River bridge south of Chillicothe on Monday, October 29th and seen anything suspicious or have heard of anything about the person or persons responsible for this fire, please call the Missouri State Fire Marshal's Arson Tip line at 1-800-39-ARSON or the Livingston County Sheriff's Department. You may remain anonymous. The Missouri State Fire Marshal's Office is offering a reward out of the Arson Reward Fund of up to $5,000.00 for information leading to the arrest of the person or persons responsible for this fire.
