Road Closure and Alerts 5-29-2019 at 12:34 p.m.

U.S. 65 is closing south of Chillicothe due to flood waters. Avoid area please.

Highway 190 is very threatened.  West bound lane from Thompson River to Highway Y is water covered and MoDOT responding.  LCSO on scene.  Avoid area please.

U.S. 36 west of Wheeling is threatened for west bound lanes.  MoDOT has equipment in place to route traffic to two lane in east bound if/when needed.

U.S. 36 west of Chillicothe the west bound lanes are currently flooded and traffic routed to east bound side for 2 lane traffic.  U.S. 36 is threatened at Coon Creek just west of Chillicothe as water level may reach or rise above floor level of the bridges.  Area being monitored.

MoDOT and Chillicothe Street Department are doing great work with everything that is going on. 

DO NOT drive through flood water.  Your life is way too important!

MSHP and Carroll County Sheriff, EMS and Fire are on standby to assist Livingston County when 65 highway is shut down.  MSHP and Caldwell County Sheriff, EMS and Fire will do same if U.S. 36 closes completely.
