Incidents:

June 26 the LCSO and Missouri State Fire Marshall investigated a fire at an unoccupied home in Chula. Emergency Responders were summoned about 5:30 a.m. for the structure fire where no one was reportedly home at the time. The home had recently been remodeled and rented with utilities recently being turned on at the residence. Preliminary investigation suggests electrical fire.

The deceased was an elderly female with medical history who had apparently passed away while working outside. Family members located this person and notified emergency responders. Our thoughts and prayers remain with the family, friends and other loved ones.
