Update on July 13, 2019 Incident Ending in Mooresville

July 19, 2019 additional charges were filed in Livingston County Associate Court on Matthew Aaron Case, 29, Chillicothe which stemmed from an incident which ended in Mooresville on the afternoon of July 13, 2019 where it is alleged Mr. Case fled from a LCSO Deputy prior to being arrested on a felony warrant for alleged Violation of Bond Conditions on class E felony Attempted Tampering with Motor Vehicle.

Mr. Case has since been charged with these alleged crimes:

Class E felony Resisting Arrest by Flight, Creating a Substantial Risk of serious injury or death to any person.

Class D felony Unlawful Possession of a Firearm.

Unclassified felony of Armed Criminal Action.

Bond was initially denied by the Court on case #19LV-CR00419 with warrant dated July 19, 2019.

July 22 the LCSO also received a Parole Violation arrest warrant from the State of Missouri on Mr. Case as he is currently on parole until January 22, 2022 for a felony convictions of Stealing and Burglary-2nd degree and on parole until January 21, 2029 for a felony conviction of Burglary-2nd degree. Mr. Case will be returned to the Missouri Department of Corrections on the Parole Warrant at our first opportunity.

We remain thankful that no one was seriously injured during this incident.
