Incidents:

August 09 the LCSO assisted the Chillicothe Police on a drug investigation in Chillicothe where a search warrant for a home was executed. An arrest was made after controlled substance(s) were allegedly located along with a firearm. See CPD for additional details.

August 12 the LCSO investigated a dog bite to a child where a relative’s dog bit the victim and broke the skin. Child was treated at HMC and released. Information shared with the Livingston County Health Center.

Chief Deputy Claypole recently completed 3 incidents of 3 separate people failing to appear in Livingston County Court as required. Reports being submitted to the prosecuting attorney for consideration of additional charges.

August 13 the LCSO assisted the Missouri State Highway Patrol with obtaining a statement from a local citizen regarding an assault at the State Fair.

August 15 the LCSO assisted the Chillicothe Police on what was a call of a motorist suffering from health issue(s) driving a vehicle that would not stop for the CPD. Our office attempted to stop the vehicle and the female driver would drive very reckless and speed up. The deputy backed off the car and disengaged the chase but continued following the person. That driver went through Linn County and into Sullivan County where law enforcement attempted to stop her in Sullivan County and terminated the attempt. The deputy ended up following the person back to Chillicothe where she safely parked at an eating establishment in the southern part of Livingston County and then spoke with the deputy and CPD officer. Additional services are being sought senior services and other steps are being taken to help ensure this will not happen again.

August 15 the LCSO responded to a report of a man and woman beating on each other in Ludlow. Investigation shows no active assault taking place upon arrival and one person claiming nothing happened. Other person involved had left prior to our arrival and was later spoken with about the incident. A report is being submitted to the prosecuting attorney for consideration.

August 17 an incident of alleged Interfering with Legal Process is being reported to the Prosecuting Attorney. LCSO deputy made multiple attempts to serve an eviction notice and one person at the home allegedly lied to the deputy the person to be served was at work. A check with the employer showed the employee had not worked for days. Additional checks at the home showed concern people in the home but refusal to answer the door. Investigation alleges the suspect intentionally lied to the deputy to prevent the person from being served the eviction notice. A few hours in time for the deputy was wasted because of the suspect and the person was ultimately served the eviction notice.

August 17 the LCSO assisted the Missouri State Highway Patrol on a 2 vehicle crash in southern Livingston County on U.S. 65. The report indicates two vehicles took evasive action to avoid striking a person on farm machinery. Both vehicles ran off the road and fortunately no one was seriously injured.

August 18 the LCSO recovered a stolen trailer from Daviess County in the northwest part of Livingston County. The stolen pickup pulling the stolen trailer was not located. Investigation continues.

 

Most Wanted Updates:

August 13 the LCSO arrested Gabriel Michele Kremer, 29 when she surrendered to the LCSO on warrants for alleged Harassment-1st degree, Assault-3rd degree and Animal Abuse. Ms. Kremer appeared before the Associate Court Judge and was transferred to the Daviess Dekalb County Regional Jail in lieu of bond.

August 19 we added Harold R. Burnett Sr., Hideaway Lakes, wanted on Livingston County arrest warrant for alleged felony Possession of Controlled Substance-Methamphetamine. Warrant dated August 15, 2019.

 

Arrests:

August 10 the LCSO arrested Robyn Genry on a Linn County arrest warrant for alleged Possession of Controlled Substance and was turned over to the Linn County Sheriff’s Office.

August 12 the LCSO arrested Kelli L. Summers, 39 on Livingston County arrest warrant for alleged Failu8re to Obey a Judge’s Order on original charge of Possession of Controlled Substance-Methamphetamine. Ms. Summers was transferred to the Daviess Dekalb Regional Jail.

August 13 a deputy made a vehicle stop and subsequently arrested Michael G. Head, Jr., 41, Chillicothe for alleged Driving While Intoxicated. Mr. Head was processed and released to a responsible person pending Court appearance.

August 19 we arrested Gregory Michael Anderson, 49 on Livingston County arrest warrant for alleged Failure to Obey a Judge’s Order on original charge class D felony Unlawful Possession of a Firearm. Mr. Anderson was transferred to the Daviess Dekalb Regional Jail in lieu of $25,000 bond.

August 19 we arrested Hunter Lee Forrest Burns, 18, Brookfield on a Livingston County arrest warrant for alleged Violation of Bond Conditions on original class D felony Possession of Controlled Substance-Methamphetamine. Mr. Burns was transferred to the Daviess Dekalb Regional Jail in lieu of $50,000 bond.

August 19 we arrested Willie Blue Brookshier, 34, Mooresville on Livingston County felony arrest warrant for alleged Failure to Obey a Judge’s Order on 2 counts Possession of Controlled Substance-Methamphetamine. Mr. Brookshier was transferred to the Daviess Dekalb Regional Jail.

 

Zaki:

August 09 the Chillicothe Police called for Zaki to assist on a vehicle stop in Chillicothe related to a drug investigation being conducted. Zaki gave positive indication to the odor of drug(s) present and officers located one or more items in the vehicle. See CPD for additional details.

August 19 the Chillicothe Police utilized Zaki on an article sniff for a drug investigation. See CPD for additional details.

 

Extraditions:

August 19 Christopher P. Graves, 29, was arrested on Livingston County arrest warrant in Lenexa Kansas. Mr. Graves is wanted for alleged class C felony Delivery of Controlled Substance, 3 class D felony of Endangering the Welfare of a Child and class D felony Unlawful Possession of a Firearm. Extradition will take place at first opportunity once extradition paperwork has been completed. This warrant is related to a search warrant executed by the Chillicothe Police on or about August 09, 2019.

August 19 Josie Simone Murphy was extradited from the State of Illinois on a Livingston County arrest warrant for alleged Probation Violation on original felony Fraudulently Attempting to Obtain Controlled Substance.

 

Citations:

August 09 a speeding citation was issued to an Overland Park, Kansas driver for 22 over the speed limit.

August 11 a speeding citation was issued to a Liberty driver for 20 over the speed limit.

August 14 a speeding citation was issued to an Illinois driver for 25 over the posted speed limit.

August 14 a speeding citation was issued to a Bogard driver for 25 over the posted speed limit.

August 19 a speeding citation was issued to an Illinois driver for 27 over the speed limit.

 

Additional Information:

August 12 the LCSO transported the following detainees to the Missouri Department of Corrections per Court order to serve sentence or attend a program:

David Kirkpatrick, 60, Chillicothe       Failure to Register as Sex Offender   3 years DOC

 

Christopher Haun, 30, Raytown         Tampering with Motor Vehicle          7 years DOC

 

Ryan Wheeler, 28, Chillicothe            Possession Controlled Substance        CODS

August 16 the LCSO served bailiff duty for a 1 day jury trial on a speeding citation from a few years ago. The out of state driver was accused of driving 97 in a 65. The jury found the suspect guilty and the court find the man about $570 for fine and costs. The case was heard by Judge Michael Leamer, prosecuted by Adam Warren and a Missouri State Trooper was the witness on the incident.

August 19 we had 27 people in custody at the Daviess Dekalb Regional Jail.
