Deputy Resignation Accepted

09/06/2019

On September 04, 2019 the LCSO accepted the resignation from Austin Lucky who was in training here to be a road patrol deputy.  Austin notified us he has accepted a position with a municipal agency outside of Livingston County.

Austin is a very nice man and we all wish him the best in his new position.

The LCSO is searching through our most recent applicants and hope to fill the position at earliest opportunity.

Each new deputy is normally in our training program for the first 3 months of employment.  This is after the employee has received their Missouri POST license to be a peace officer.  The in-house training time is to learn our policies, procedures, requirements, computer systems, area geography, and people in the community.

Thank you for supporting law enforcement, first responders and this office.

Respectfully,

Sheriff Steve Cox
