Incident Reports:

October 10 the LCSO, MSHP and CDES assisted a reported suicidal person who was allegedly attempting to overdose on medications. The person was transported for professional care.

October 11 School Resource Officer/Deputy Sheriff Mike Lewis filed a report with this office regarding CHS students on a field trip at Trenton and a CHS student allegedly shop lifted an item. A teacher found and returned the item to the proper owner. Parent/guardian, juvenile office and school administration are aware of the incident and taking proper action.

October 15 School Resource Officer/Deputy Sheriff Mike Lewis filed a report with this office regarding a juvenile allegedly threatening younger student(s) at Dewey School. Juvenile Office, parent/guardian and school administration is aware of the issue and taking proper action.

October 16 the LCSO completed an incident report on a 37-year-old man who allegedly failed to appear in Livingston County Court on class D felony Possession of Controlled Substance and Endangering the Welfare of a Child. Additional charge may be filed against the suspect.

October 16 the LCSO completed an incident report on a 34-year-old man who allegedly failed to appear in Livingston County Court on class D felony Possession of Controlled Substance. Additional charge may be filed against the suspect.

October 17 the LCSO made a referral to the Crisis Intervention Team for an adult who was found to be battling depression issue.

October 17 the LCSO completed an incident report on a 33-year-old man for allegedly failing to appear in Livingston County Court on class E felony Harassment. Additional charge may be filed against the suspect.

October 17 the LCSO investigated a report of trespassing at a home in Dawn. Victim reported former spouse had been unlawfully entering the home without permission. Suspect was found in the home, victim asked for no prosecution for this offense and warning given for potential arrest in future.

October 18 the LCSO assisted the Children's Division with an investigation of possible child sex offense. Investigation continues.

October 21 the LCSO and MSHP conducted a well-being check of an adult and assistance was given for additional services.

October 21 the LCSO completed an incident report on Failing to Appear in Court where a 25-year-old suspect is alleged to have failed to appear in Court on felony charge of Failing to Register as a Sex Offender. The suspect may receive an additional charge with this case.

October 25 the LCSO completed an incident report seeking additional charge(s) on 30 year old person who has allegedly failed to appear twice in Court on felony allegation of Possession of Controlled Substance.

Recently the LCSO completed a drug investigation with the execution of a search warrant at a residence on the east side of Chillicothe. Drug related evidence was seized from the home and charges are pending results of lab report from Missouri State Highway Patrol Crime Lab.

Recently the LCSO has completed a theft investigation of a chainsaw from February 2019 in Chula. The chainsaw was recovered in Grundy County and investigation has led to a suspect from Livingston County. That person was interviewed and a report will be submitted to the prosecuting attorney.

The LCSO has completed an investigation of suspected fraud where a logger removed a large quantity of walnut trees from a property and has never paid the owner. The suspect has been identified and we are seeking an arrest warrant for that person.

The LCSO is continuing with a lengthy fraud investigation where and elderly couple was allegedly swindled out of $1,500 from a person in an adjoining state. Investigation continues.

 

Arrests:

October 08 the LCSO served a Livingston County arrest warrant on Alisha M. Riggen, 29, Chillicothe on Livingston County arrest warrant for alleged Probation Violation on class A misdemeanor Driving While Revoked/Suspended-2nd or 3rd offense. Ms. Riggen was transferred to the Daviess Dekalb Regional Jail in lieu of $1,000 bond.

October 08 the LCSO responded to a call of suspicious vehicle and subsequently stopped a vehicle at north Casey's. Investigation resulted in the arrest of Kailean Allen Volker, 33, Chillicothe for alleged Driving While Intoxicated-Drugs. Mr. Volker was processed and released pending Court appearance.

October 15 the LCSO served a Livingston County arrest warrant on Christopher Philip Graves Jr., 29, Chillicothe for alleged Failure to Obey a Judge's Order on class C felony Delivery of Controlled Substance, three counts class D felony Endangering the Welfare of a Child and class D felony Unlawful Possession of a Firearm. Mr. Graves was transferred to Daviess Dekalb Regional Jail in lieu of bond.

October 16 the LCSO arrested Anthony David Munroe, 38, Chillicothe on a Livingston County arrest warrant for alleged Failure to Obey a Judge's Order on original class D felony Abuse or Neglect of a Child. Mr. Munroe was transferred to the Daviess Dekalb Regional Jail in lieu of bond.

October 17 the LCSO stopped a driver known to have a revoked/suspended driver's license. Deputy arrested Samantha Ryan Menasco, 31, Chillicothe for same offense and she was processed at the LCSO and released on summons.

October 18 the LCSO extradited Jeremiah U. Muth, 38, from the State of Kansas on Livingston County arrest warrant for alleged class D felony Violating a Lifetime Supervision. Mr. Muth was taken to the Daviess Dekalb Regional Jail in lieu of bond.

October 21 the LCSO arrested Kennadie Nicole Stottlemyre, 21, Chillicothe in the 900 block of Fairway Street on Livingston County warrant for alleged Failure to Obey Judge's Order on original class D felony Possession of Controlled Substance-Methamphetamine. Ms. Stottlemyre was transferred to the Daviess Dekalb Regional Jail in lieu of $10,000 cash bond.

October 24 the LCSO arrested Sierra Rose Copsey, 21 in the 1000 block of Elm Street on a Livingston County arrest warrant, 19LV-CR00610, for alleged class B felony Trafficking Drugs (Methamphetamine)-2nd degree in violation 579.068. Ms. Copsey was processed and transferred to the Daviess Dekalb Regional Jail in lieu of $20,000 cash bond.

October 24 the LCSO arrested Tiffany Rochelle Limback, 26, Chula on Livingston County arrest warrant 19LV-CR00611 for alleged two class D felony counts Tamper or Attempt to Tamper with a Victim in a Felony Prosecution. Ms. Limback was released on bond pending next court appearance.

 

Citations:

October 17 the LCSO issued a Kansas City driver a speeding citation for 97 in a 65 on U.S. 36 at LIV 255.

 

Additional Information:

Currently the LCSO has 33 people in custody at the Daviess Dekalb Regional Jail, 9 of which are female detainees.
