On Saturday October 26 at 1:49 p.m. Deputy Dustin Woelfle was working in northern Livingston County and checked a speeding Dodge Challenger on U.S. 65 near Chula Junction at 98 when limited to 60 MPH. The vehicle was stopped and investigation resulted in the arrest of Saquille Johntavius Owens, Sr., 26, Chillicothe for the alleged excessive speed and No Valid Driver's License. Mr. Owens posted bond and was released pending Court appearance.

Keep in mind on a 2 lane highway you are only maybe 1 to 2 feet apart from every vehicle you meet and having a violent head-on collision. On 4 lane divided highways you are maybe 1 to 2 feet apart from sideswipe collision with every passing vehicle. We are happy to help see people make it home safe and educate some to be a better driver.

NOTE: All persons are innocent unless and until proven guilty in a Court of Law. An arrest and/or arrest warrant is merely an allegation and nothing more.
