February 23 LCSO fugitive investigation led us to a location on Jennifer Lane in Chillicothe in search of Jeffery Gordon Davenport, 36 and wanted on Livingston County arrest warrant for class A misdemeanor Child Support Violation and a Missouri Parole Warrant.  Davenport had allegedly ran from Probation/Parole Officers last week and eluded other law enforcement during that search for him. Davenport had been on the run since January 28, 2020.

Officers announced their presence without response from anyone in the home.  Once Deputy Leadbetter clearly explained Zaki was coming in to search the home for a fugitive Mr. Davenport quickly surrendered and reported he did not want to meet Zaki in that manner. 

Officers also seized multiple methamphetamine smoking pipes and a small quantity of methamphetamine.  Report will be submitted to the prosecuting attorney for consideration. 

Officers also arrested Amy L. Nieman, 48, Chillicothe for alleged Hindering Prosecution in this matter and she was also hiding with Mr. Davenport.  Both were taken to DDRJ and Ms. Nieman has since been charged in Associate Court with alleged Failure to Obey a Judge's Order on original felony Possession of Methamphetamine.
