On February 24, 2020 MSHP and LCSO arrested William Denote Cooper, 40, Bevier on a traffic stop for alleged felony Delivery of Controlled Substance-Methamphetamine.  Mr. Cooper was booked into the Daviess Dekalb Regional Jail about 12:53 a.m. on February 25 and charged in Livingston County Court.  Mr. Cooper was released from Jail on the morning of February 26, 2020 on ROR bond.

On February 27 Mr. Cooper reportedly met his bond supervision case worker who discovered Mr. Cooper allegedly violated his bond conditions since being released from jail the previous day.  The Associate Court issued a felony warrant for Mr. Cooper for alleged Failure to Obey a Judge's Order on the original felony Delivery of Controlled Substance-Methamphetamine.  Mr. Cooper was taken into custody by authorities in Caldwell County and is again in the Daviess Dekalb Regional Jail with bond now set at $15,000 cash.

We appreciate the assistance of law enforcement in Hamilton and Caldwell County.
