The Livingston County Sheriff's Office (LCSO) has had an on-going drug investigation at a location in Wheeling for some time.  On the night of April 25 about 11:00 p.m. LCSO deputy stopped a vehicle in Chillicothe on a traffic offense.  The occupant of that vehicle has been a subject of that on-going investigation and during the stop our officers had reasonable suspicion other crimes were taking place and probable cause to search the vehicle was present.

The search resulted in the seizure of various baggies of methamphetamine, drug distribution equipment and drug paraphernalia that is used for ingestion of methamphetamine.

LCSO staff was assisted by the Chillicothe Police Department and officers arrested William "BJ" Knouse, 41, 800 block Highway B, Wheeling, MO for the alleged Delivery of Controlled Substance-Methamphetamine and Possession of Methamphetamine related Drug Paraphernalia.  Mr. Knouse was later released pending filling of formal charges.  Additional investigation continues.
