October 13 LCSO investigated an incident where a man was found shot along LIV 251 in northern Livingston County.  The man was found with a single shot to the head and subsequently passed away while being taken by air ambulance. 

Preliminary investigation shows the Texas man was apparently homeless and unknown exactly why he was in Livingston County yesterday  Evidence shows the man had purchased the firearm in Texas.  The deceased male was a military veteran.  Next of kin have been notified. Investigation continues.
