Additional Information:

A good tip is if you are to appear in court to plead guilty on a felony is not to get high on drugs the night before court and the morning of court.  At least in this case the person was honest with the Judge but was remanded to our custody until a new court hearing date.  Defendants must be of clear mind in order to plead guilty.

LCSO has assisted several motorists and people along the roadways recently.

LCSO remains short-handed as one deputy remains off due to significant injuries and we have not yet been able to fill a deputy position due to a retirement earlier this year.

LCSO has been busy working multiple investigations including fugitive investigations.  Information has been shared with several agencies in Missouri and even out of state.

Currently the LCSO has 42 people in custody.
