Incident Reports:

LCSO is seeking an arrest warrant for an adult on an alleged drug trafficking case.  LCSO has been working on an incident from March 31 that resulted in the arrest of one man on or about April 7.  Investigation has led to the point we are asking the court for an arrest warrant for a second person allegedly involved in the suspected drug trafficking of methamphetamine.

April 14 LCSO began investigation of property damage to the park in Wheeling.  Unknown person(s) used spray paint on item(s) in the park and the matter remains under investigation.

April 15 LCSO began an investigation of possible harassment.

April 16 about 5:42 p.m. LCSO dispatched to a report of a missing and possibly endangered adult.  Investigation revealed the person was not endangered and had left the home without telling parents and was in a safe location.  Matter resolved and the person since returned home.

April 18 LCSO responded to a rural address for an adult allegedly contemplating suicide and reportedly took a quantity of medications.  LCSO assisted person getting to hospital where they agreed to check in for treatment.  Crisis Intervention Team (CIT) notified.

April 18 LCSO arrested Carin Liegh Dixon, 63, Chillicothe on a Grundy County arrest warrant for alleged class E felony Passing Bad Check.  Ms. Dixon posted bond at the LCSO and was released with a court date for Grundy County.

Early morning hours of April 22 dispatch received a call from rural Livingston County area where the person was claiming one or more persons were breaking in.  Deputies searched the area and attempted calling the caller back multiple times.  It is suspected the caller was at another location and intoxicated on drugs.  Investigation continues.

 

Most Wanted Updates:

April 17 LCSO arrested Cameron Keith Bay, 32, wanted on Livingston County arrest warrant for alleged class A misdemeanor Non-Support.  Mr. Bay was transferred to Daviess Dekalb Regional Jail in lieu of bond.

Added April 21:

Robert Alexander Salmons, 38, Lincoln, MO wanted on Livingston County arrest warrant for alleged Failure to Appear in Court on original class E felony Non-Support.  Bond set at $3,500 on case #21LV-CR00076.

Tyler Dillion King, 29, Sparta, MO wanted on Livingston County arrest warrant for alleged Failure to Appear in Court on original 2 class A misdemeanors of Non-Support.  Bond set at $1,000 cash on case #21LV-CR00077.

Added April 22:

Franklin A. Holcomb, 38, Gallatin, wanted on Livingston County arrest warrant for alleged Probation Violation on original class E felony Non-Support, Total Arrears in Excess of 12 Monthly Payments Due Under Order of Support.  Bond set at $25,000 cash on case #19LV-CR00514-01.

Arrested:

April 15, Jimmy Dean King, 65, arrested in Iowa on Livingston County arrest warrant for alleged  class A felony Trafficking Drugs or Attempt in 1st degree.  Two class C felony violations of Delivery of Controlled Substance(s).  Two class D felony violations of Forgery.  Class D felony Unlawful Possession of a Firearm.  Class D felony Endangering the Welfare of a Child involving Drugs.  Bond set at $100,000 cash only on case 20LV-CR00301.   LCSO will extradite once any local charges are complete and extradition waived.  Mr. King has been a fugitive since July 2020.

April 15, Hazel C. Miller, 24, arrested in Clay County, Missouri on Livingston County arrest warrant for alleged PROBATION VIOLATION on original class D felony Tampering with Motor Vehicle-1st degree, class D felony Possession of Controlled Substance and class E felony Resisting Arrest/Detention/Stop.  Bond set at $10,000 cash only on case #19LV-CR00384-01.  Ms. Miller has been a fugitive since August 2020.

 

Citations:

April 19 at 10:28 a.m. a Chicago driver was cited for 82 in a 65 on U.S. 36.

April 20 at 7:46 p.m. a Lawson driver was cited for 92 in a 65 on U.S. 36 near Mooresville Junction.

 

Additional Information:

Chief Deputy Michael Claypole recently attended the Wheeling Town meeting where area information was exchanged.

April 19 LCSO transferred 4 men to the Missouri Department of Corrections in St. Joseph.

April 20 LCSO extradited Hazel Miller, 24, from Clay County Sheriff wanted on Livingston County felony arrest warrant for alleged probation violation on original Tampering with Motor Vehicle-1st degree and Possession of Controlled Substance.  Ms. Miller was transferred to the Daviess Dekalb Regional Jail.

April 20 Sheriff Cox submitted a grant request on the 2022 Deputy Sheriff Salary Supplement Grant.  The sheriff and county commission are seeking/approving request for grant of $100 per month per deputy sheriff.  If awarded the grant will run July 01, 2021 through June 30, 2022.

LCSO currently has 39 people in custody.
