Incident Reports:

April 10 LCSO began report of littering on LIV 238.  Person(s) are on video dumping illegal items at the Chillicothe Burn site.  Suspect has been identified and the matter resolved.

April 16 LCSO responded to a one vehicle accident on Highway 190 and learned the person had contacted someone for a ride.  That individual arrived and a deputy had recently cited that man for no valid driver's license but the man claimed he has since obtained his license.  A check through dispatch showed the man only had a learner permit and no licensed driver with him.  The driver's vehicle also reeked of marijuana and claimed to not have a medical marijuana card.  The man was issued citations for no valid driver's license and possession of drug paraphernalia.

April 22 LCSO assisted the Chillicothe Police with a person armed with a shotgun and threatening to commit suicide.

April 26 LCSO completed an investigation where a parent is reportedly not requiring their child to attend Southwest School.  Information has been sent to the prosecuting attorney for consideration.

April 28 a rural resident reported their parent(s) had received a SCAM letter about Medicare information and requesting the senior citizen call a specific number.  Fortunately no personal information was released.

 

Most Wanted Updates:

April 23 Gallatin Police arrested Franklin A. Holcomb, 38, on Livingston County arrest warrant for alleged Probation Violation on original class E felony Non-Support.

April 24 authorities in the State of Mississippi arrested Stephanie Jane Johnson, 35, wanted on Livingston County arrest warrant for alleged class D felony Stealing Motor Vehicle.  Ms. Johnson will be extradited at first opportunity once her waiver has been signed.

Added:

April 28, Dawn R. King, 39, unknown address, wanted on Livingston County arrest warrant for alleged Failure to Obey a Judge's Order on original class D felony Possession of Controlled Substance.

April 28, Gaylord D. Humphrey, 40, Trenton, wanted on Livingston County arrest warrant for alleged Probation Violation on original class D felony Possession of Controlled Substance.

 

Other Arrests:

April 24 at 8:00 p.m. a deputy as on U.S. 36 west of Wheeling and checked an east bound car at 90 in a 65.  The deputy attempted to stop the vehicle but the suspect sped up and fled at an extremely high rate of speed.  The deputy terminated the pursuit and notified authorities in Linn County who actually got the vehicle stopped.  Our deputy went to that location and the Linn County authorities arrested the suspect who was returned to Livingston County and incarcerated in the Daviess Dekalb Regional Jail for alleged felony resisting arrest.  Investigation shows the female passenger told law enforcement she demanded the driver stop multiple times but he did not.  Arrested was Terrence A. Turner, 30, Country Club Hills, Illinois.  Mr. Turner was charged in Livingston County Associate Circuit Court with the alleged class E felony Resisting Arrest/Detention/Stop-Creating Substantial Risk of Serious Injury or Death to Any Person.

April 28 LCSO located and arrested Corey Jay Michael Gibson, 20, Chillicothe on Livingston County arrest warrant for alleged Probation Violation on original class D felony Assault-2nd degree.  Mr. Gibson was found to be in possession of Methamphetamine and Methamphetamine Drug Paraphernalia.  Mr. Gibson transferred to DDRJ with potential additional charge(s) pending.

 

Citations:

April 24 at 8:00 p.m.

April 24 at 12:56 a.m. an Arizona driver was cited for 90 in a 65 on U.S. 36.

April 28 at 6:57 a.m. a Jamesport driver was cited for 69 in a 55 on Highway 190 at Route U.

 

Additional Information:

LCSO has followed up on several criminal investigations, conducted fugitive investigations, assisted other agencies and shared criminal information with various law enforcement organizations.

LCSO has been busy prepping to move our office into the south end of the Chillicothe Police Department.  We have done substantial amount of packing and organizing to ready for this move.

LCSO staff has been working on a variety of fugitive investigations and sharing information on those with respective agencies.

April 27 LCSO delivered a male detainee to the Missouri Department of Corrections in St. Joseph.

April 28 LCSO extradited Clayton A. Fisher, 35, from the Chariton County Jail and delivered that man to the Daviess Dekalb Regional Jail on Livingston County charges.

April 30 LCSO has 37 detainees in custody.
