Incidents, Arrests and MORE Information

Incident Reports:

October 05 at 9:30 a.m. a rural resident reported their disabled child's social security disability debit card had been compromised and unable to be used as the PIN number had been changed without their consent.  Investigation continues.

October 06 LCSO completed a Crisis Intervention Team report and assisted a suicidal person.

October 06 at 4:35 a.m. LCSO responded to investigate a death on LIV 2388.  Coroner's office was there to assist.  Preliminary investigation suggests the person passed due to natural cause.  Our thoughts and prayers remain with the deceased person's family and friends.

October 06 Deputy Sheriff/School Resource Officer Mike Lewis filed a report with this office that an incident took place at Chillicothe High School regarding Disturbing the Peace.  A juvenile was found to be communicating improper things and was dealt with by school administration with parents notified.  Report being submitted to juvenile officer.

October 06 LCSO began investigation of a stolen handgun from a location near Ludlow.  Victim reported they are missing a Smith & Wesson MP 40 in .40 caliber.  The firearm could have been taken within the last month.  Information has been placed in the law enforcement computer system.  Investigation continues.

October 07 LCSO investigated possible sex offender registration violation. Investigation continues.

October 08 at 11:53 p.m. LCSO responded to an address in the 2000 block of LIV 247 on a domestic assault call.  Investigation shows the male suspect had left prior to the deputy arriving on scene.  Evidence and information was collected and we are submitting the report to Prosecuting Attorney Adam Warren for consideration.

October 14 LCSO opened investigation of Sex Offender Registration Violation.  Additional information is being collected and will be submitted to the prosecuting attorney for consideration.

October 15 LCSO completed an incident report on suspect who Failed to Appear in Court on an original felony Domestic Assault allegation.  An additional charge may be filed against the suspect.

October 15 LCSO completed incident report on suspect who Failed to Appear in Court on an original felony allegation of Drug Possession.  An additional charge may be filed against the suspect.

 

Most Wanted Updates:

October 06 Chariton County authorities arrested Frank Joseph Stallo, 46, Marceline on Livingston County arrest warrant for alleged class D felony Stealing Motor Vehicle.  Mr. Stallo was extradited from Chariton County Jail and transferred to Daviess Dekalb Regional Jail in lieu of bond.

Arrested October 07 by LCSO, Travis J. Skinner, 31, KCMO on Livingston County arrest warrant for alleged Violation of Bond Conditions on original class D felony Possession of Controlled Substance.  Mr. Skinner was transferred to DDRJ after appearing in Court.

Surrendered October 12, Jante Dean Glasgow, 28, Chillicothe, was wanted on Livingston County arrest warrant for alleged class E felony Domestic Assault-3rd degree.  Bond set at $25,000 on case #21LV-CR00483.

Added October 13:

Joshua Steven Knouse, 807 Highway B, Wheeling, wanted on Livingston County arrest warrant for alleged Failure to Obey a Judge's Order on original class E felony Domestic Assault-3rd degree.  No bond allowed by the court on case #21LV-CR00272.  Warrant shows alleged fail to obey judge's order being, to-wit: Defendant violated conditions of bond by using methamphetamine on these charge(s).  LCSO Jail Management records show that Mr. Knouse was originally arrested on this warrant on May 27 and released on ROR bond June 08, 2021.  Mr. Knouse was alleged to have Failed to Obey Judge's Order and arrested again on this warrant on or about July 28 and released on ROR bond again on August 02, 2021.  We are again seeking Mr. Knouse on this warrant.

Added and later arrested October 15:  Jonathan Alexander Gentile, 20, Brookfield is wanted on Livingston County arrest warrant for Alleged Probation Violation on original class D felony of Burglary-2nd degree.  Warrant 19LV-CR00155-01 was signed on October 12, 2021 and warrant shows alleged Probation Violation includes violation of directive #8 by Failing to Report as Directed to Probation Officer.  LCSO Jail Management records show Mr. Gentile was arrested March 16, 2019 on this warrant for alleged Probation Violation then and released from jail on May 07, 2019.  Mr. Gentile was again arrested on this warrant for alleged Probation Violation on or about September 16, 2019 and released on ROR bond from jail on September 26, 2019.  Mr. Gentile was arrested again on December 02, 2020 for alleged Probation Violation and released from jail on ROR bond on December 08, 2020.  Mr. Gentile was arrested on this same warrant again on or about January 06, 2021 for alleged Violation of Bond Conditions and released from jail January 13, 2021.  We are again seeking Mr. Gentile on this warrant.  Bond was set by the Court at $20,000 cash.  UPDATE:  Arrested by Brookfield PD on October 15, 2021. 

 

Other Arrests:

October 03 at 5:40 p.m. LCSO arrested Shandie Lynn Searcy, 32, on a Caldwell County arrest warrant for alleged traffic offense.  Ms. Searcy posted the $300 cash bond and was released on new court date.

October 07 LCSO arrested Gaylord Daniel Humphrey, 41, Trenton, on Livingston County arrest warrant for alleged class D felony Possession of Controlled Substance.  Mr. Humphrey was transported to DDRJ in lieu of $5,000 bond.

October 07 LCSO arrested Larry Vernon Reynolds, 39, Wheeling, on Livingston County arrest warrant for alleged class E felony Domestic Assault-3rd degree and on Benton County, Arkansas arrest warrant for alleged Probation Violation on original charge of felony assault.  Mr. Reynolds was transferred to DDRJ in lieu of bond.

October 07 LCSO arrested Kegan Scott Swartz, 28, Columbia, on Livingston County arrest warrant for alleged class E felony Fail to Register as Sex Offender-2nd offense.  Mr. Swartz was transferred to DDRJ in lieu of $20,000 bond.

October 07 LCSO arrested Heather Louise Woods, 26, Chillicothe, on Livingston County arrest warrant for alleged 3 counts class D felony Abuse or Neglect of a Child under section 568.060.5(1) no sexual contact.  Ms. Woods was taken to DDRJ in lieu of $5,000 bond.

October 09 at 2:27 p.m. a deputy stopped a vehicle on U.S. 36 for 96 in a 65.  Stop resulted in the arrest of Zachary Divine Horton, 38, Springfield Illinois for alleged Franklin County arrest warrant for failure to appear in court on a traffic offense and Livingston County charges of alleged felony Driving While Revoked/Suspended and excessive speed.  Mr. Horton was processed at the Law Enforcement Center and transferred to Daviess Dekalb Regional Jail.  Mr. Horton was charged in Associate Court with alleged felony Driving While Revoked/Suspended and has been released on bond.

October 12 at 4:21 p.m. LCSO served a Livingston County arrest warrant on Robert Wayne Johnson, 49, Dawn, for alleged class E felony Failure to Register as a Sex Offender.  Mr. Johnson had surrendered to the LCSO and was released on bond after being processed at the Law Enforcement Center.

 

Citations:

October 04 at 7:30 citations issued to Chillicothe driver for Failing to Register Motor Vehicle and No Valid Motorcycle License.

October 07 at 9:25 a.m. a Jamesport man was cited for 82 in a 55 on Highway 190 at LIV 511.

October 09 at 9:36 a.m. a Jamesport driver was cited for 76 in a 55 on Highway 190 at Route Y.

October 09 at 12:47 p.m. a Chillicothe driver was cited for 80 in a 55 on Highway 190 at LIV 235.

October 10 at 1:30 p.m. a Coffey driver was cited for 72 in a 55 on Highway 190 at Highway Y.

October 13 at 8:50 p.m. a Breckenridge driver was cited for 80 in a 55 on Highway D at LIV 422.

October 18 an Omaha driver was cited for 76 in a 65 on U.S. 36 at LIV 249.

 

Additional Information:

October 06 Deputy Terry Wilson attended the Missouri Sheriffs' Association Training Academy and is now a certified Pepper Spray Instructor.

October 07 LCSO transported 7 people to the Daviess Dekalb Regional Jail.

October 11 LCSO extradited Eric Nelson McKinney, 45, from Missouri Department of Corrections in Fulton on Livingston County arrest warrant for alleged Failure to Register as a Sex Offender.  Mr. McKinney was taken to the Daviess Dekalb Regional Jail in lieu of bond.

October 14 LCSO is causing Chad J. McCormick, 38, to be extradited from Cole County Sheriff on Livingston County arrest warrant for alleged Tampering with Motor Vehicle.  Mr. McCormick will be taken to DDRJ in lieu of bond.

LCSO has been extremely busy working criminal and fugitive investigations, assisting other agencies, and other statutory obligations.

Currently the LCSO has 46 people in custody.
