On Saturday, December 04 about 11:27 a.m. LCSO deputy overheard radio traffic of an incident in the 4000 block of LIV 424 of injury to a person from a falling tree.  Investigation shows a chainsaw was being used to cut a tree and at one point the tree fell and struck the victim.

Chillicothe Department of Emergency Services and Life Flight were summoned to the scene.  At some point the emergency medical responders transported the 55-year-old victim to Hedrick Medical Center where she passed.  

Missouri Conservation Agent Caleb Pryor was the first emergency responder on the scene and assisted the Emergency Medical crew and Deputy Jennifer Plummer.
