April 27 at 12:04 a.m. a deputy observed a female pushing a child stroller with 2 small children in the 300 block of South Washington.  The deputy checked on them and found the adult female was allegedly intoxicated and taking the two very small children to Walmart to meet a male she claimed to have met online.  The deputy noted it was very chilly out at 47 degrees and did not believe the children were being properly cared for as having walked nearly 1.5 miles like this.  During the process the adult female reportedly attempted to chug vodka from two different bottles even after being ordered not to do so.  The deputy arrested Sarah Kaye Davis, 31, Chillicothe on alleged 2 counts of Child Endangerment.  The children were secured and released to a responsible family member and Ms. Davis was transferred to Daviess Dekalb Regional Jail.  Ms. Davis has since been charged in Livingston County Associate Court with alleged 2 counts Endangering Welfare of a Child with no bond initially allowed on case #22LV-CR00232.

Note:  All people are innocent unless and until proven guilty in a Court of Law.  An arrest, arrest warrant and/or incarceration is merely an allegation and nothing more.
