Administrative Professionals of the L.C.S.O.

04/28/2023

Good morning,

In light of Administrative Professional's Day I would like to shine a spotlight on two of the Livingston County Sheriff's Office most important assets, Captain Sindy Thomas (serving since 1991) and Administrative Assistant Kathy Tuttle (serving since 2019).

Many of those in our wonderful community are not aware of the level of work and dedication required to keep our office operating at a high level behind the scenes.  They take hundreds of phone calls a week from people wanting to make or follow up on police reports, needing information on paper service, answering questions of offender registrations among countless others.  Additionally, Captain Thomas and A.A. Tuttle have to keep track of EVERYTHING having to due with people in the custody of the L.C.S.O. which is exacerbated by the fact our county houses people at multiple different jail facilities.  Warrants, transportation, medical issues, and jail time recording are just a small fraction of the constantly changing information that is tracked and managed by our administrative professionals.  In reality, Captain Thomas O.A. Tuttle perform the work of what would be the equivalent of an entire dedicated department of staff just between the two of them.

Captain Thomas and Administrative Assistant Tuttle's experience and expertise provide the Livingston County Sheriff's Office with a solid foundation on which we take great pride in serving all citizens of our county.

Thank you for your continued service.

Have a wonderful day,

Sergeant Dustin Woelfle
