Incident Reports:
June 4th, LCSO responded to the 700 block of Matson in Utica in reference to a domestic disturbance. It was determined the disturbance was on verbal in nature and parties were advised of options regarding disagreements between the individuals.
June 10th, LCSO responded to the 14000 block of State Highway C in reference to an investigation into harassment. A report was completed and is being forwarded to the Prosecuting Attorney's Office for consideration of charges.
June 12th, deputy reported findings into an investigation on counterfeit money being passed in the 700 block of Webster Street. Investigation continues.
June 12th, deputy responded to the 2000 block of State Highway U reference a domestic disturbance. One party had left prior to the deputy's arrival and a report was taken to be kept on file as the dispute was determined to be only verbal in nature.
June 12th, deputy took a report of a stolen firearm from the 11000 block of State Highway J in Hale. Investigation continues.
Arrests:
June 2nd, deputy arrested TWO individuals listed on our Most Wanted section being Kayla Sayers, 34, Chillicothe (Case # 23LV-CR00208-01) and William Helm, 48, Chillicothe (Case # 23LV-CR00431, # 23LV-CR00397 and # 24LV-CR00025) in the 10-block of Jennifer Lane in Chillicothe. Sayers was wanted for failing to obey judge's orders on possession of a controlled substance. Helm was wanted for failing to obey judge's orders on a charge of failing to register as a sex offender, failing to appear on a charge of failing to register as a sex offender and an additional charge of failing to register as a sex offender. During these arrests, suspected controlled substances were located during a subsequent search warrant resulting in additional pending charges on both Sayers and Helm. Both fugitives were transported to Caldwell County Detention Center.
June 6th, deputy took Anthony Roberts, 48, Kansas City, into custody during Circuit Court to serve a 20-day jail sentence in Caldwell County Detention Center on a felony charge of driving while revoked/suspended.
June 6th, deputy took Michael Aleman, 52, Chillicothe into custody during Circuit Court to serve a 5-year prison sentence in the Missouri Department of Corrections on a felony charge of possession of a controlled substance.
June 6th, deputy took Gary Calvert, 29, Chillicothe into custody during Circuit Court to serve a 4-year prison sentence in the Missouri Department of Corrections on a felony charge of failing to register as a sex offender.
June 6th, deputy took Adam Murphy, 49, Chillicothe into custody during Circuit Court to serve a 3-year prison sentence in the Missouri Department of Corrections on a felony charge of assault.
June 6th, deputy arrested Jodi Bagwell, 47, Kansas City, on a Livingston County arrest warrant during Circuit Court on Case # 23LV-CR00541-01 for a charge of possession of a controlled substance. Bagwell was unable to post $10,000 cash bond and was transported to Daviess-Dekalb Regional Jail.
June 6th, deputy arrested Jamie Glenn, 38, Liberty, on a Livingston County arrest warrant (failure to appear) during Circuit Court on Case # 22LV-CR00110-01 for a charge of delivery of controlled substance. Glenn was unable to post $20,000 cash bond and was transported to Daviess Dekalb Regional Jail.
June 13th, deputy arrested Joseph Sewell, 32, Brookfield, for operating a motor vehicle on a highway without a valid license - first offense after observing him traveling 84 MPH in a 65 MPH zone on U.S. Highway 36 near LIV 261. Sewell was processed and released on summons.
June 14th, deputies arrested Robert Johnson, 51, Dawn, on a Livingston County arrest warrant on case # 24LV-CR00278 for a charge of failing to register as a sex offender. Johnson turned himself in on the warrant and was transported to Caldwell County Detention Center.
June 14th, deputy arrested Leo Marquess, 23, Marshall for exceeding the posted speed limit 26+. Marquess was observed by the deputy to be traveling 91 MPH in a 65 MPH zone on U.S. Highway 36 near LIV 408 and was released on summons after posting $250 cash bond.
June 15th, deputy arrested Jonas Miller, 19, Warrenton, for exceeding the posted speed limit 26+. Miller was observed traveling 93 MPH in a 60 MPH zone on U.S. Highway 65 at State Highway K. Miller was processed and released on summons after posting $250 cash bond.
Citations:
June 14th, Candace Fletcher, 54, Illinois, was issued a citation for traveling 87 MPH in a 65 MPH zone on U.S. Highway 36 near LIV 251.
June 14th, Elizabeth Slattery, 30, Chillicothe, was issued a citation for traveling 80 MPH in a 65 MPH zone on U.S. Highway 36 at the Grand River Bridge.
June 14th, Demetrius Wheeler, 48, Illinois, was issued a citation for traveling 88 MPH in a 65 MPH zone on U.S. Highway 36 near State Highway B.
