Reports, Arrests and Citations-
Incident Reports:
June 26th, deputy took a walk-in report of harassment by text messages involving the care of a child. Investigation shows the harassment ceased soon thereafter and no charges are pending at this time.
June 28th, deputies responded to the 400 block of Third Street in Wheeling in reference to a domestic disturbance. Parties were separated upon arrival and a report will be kept on file. There are no criminal charges pending at this time.
June 28th, deputies responded to the 19000 block of LIV 351 in reference to a disturbance. The disturbance was determined to have been only verbal in nature and the parties agreed to separates. Individuals were also provided with information on resources they may obtain to help alleviate potential future issues.
June 30th, deputy responded to the 21000 block of LIV 359 in Avalon in reference to a disturbance. Investigation showed the dispute was verbal only in nature but did involve property damage due to one party punching the windshield of a vehicle. The parties were separated for the night and an incident is completed to be kept on file. Deputy was assisted by M.S.H.P.
July 3rd, deputy responded to the 100 block of Mansur Street in Chula in reference to a disturbance with injuries. Parties were separated and no charges are pending at this time.
July 7th, deputy completed a report of alleged harassment between separated parents of a small child. Investigation closed at this time due to lack of cooperation of the victim.
July 8th, deputy took a walk-in harassment report at the L.C.S.O. Investigation showed a one party was harassing another via following them in a vehicle for several miles beyond what one would have a valid reason to do so. Formal charges will be sent up for possible prosecution.
Arrests:
June 22nd, deputy arrested Nathan Gamez, 29, Illinois, for driving while intoxicated on U.S. Highway 36 near LIV 261. Gamez was processed and released on a summons.
June 28th, deputy arrested Andrew Pisel, 31, Illinois, for exceeding the posted speed limit by traveling 95 MPH in a 65 MPH zone on U.S. Highway 36 near LIV 261. Pisel was processed and released on summons after posting $250 cash bond.
June 29th, deputy arrested Jennifer Reno, 56, Cameron, for driving while intoxicated on U.S. Highway 36 West of Chillicothe. Our office received several calls on Reno's vehicle which was traveling Westbound on U.S. 36 from Linn County due to the vehicle swerving all over the roadway. Reno was processed and released on summons to a sober person.
July 5th, deputy arrested Ian Bakk, 34, Kansas, for exceeding the posted speed limit by traveling 81 MPH in a marked 55 MPH construction zone on U.S. Highway 36 near U.S. Highway 65. Bakk was processed and released on summons after posting $250 cash bond.
Citations:
June 28th, Darrell Simmons Jr., 23, Illinois, was issued a citation for traveling 84 MPH in a 65 MPH zone on U.S. Highway 36 near LIV 257.
June 28th, Carmen Gentilia, 18, Platte City, was issued a citation for traveling 89 MPH in a 65 MPH zone on U.S. Highway 36 near LIV 261.
June 28th, Christena Adams, 27, Chillicothe, was issued a citation for traveling 83 MPH in a 60 MPH zone on U.S. Highway 65 near LIV 208.
June 29th, Izac Crandall, 23, Sturgeon, was issued a citation for traveling 84 MPH in a 65 MPH zone on U.S. Highway 36 near LIV 407.
June 30th, Justin Bascus, 20, Laclede, was issued a citation for traveling 84 MPH in a 65 MPH zone on U.S. Highway 36 near LIV 261.
