Reports, Arrests and Citations

Incident Reports:

January 5th, LCSO responded to an address on State Highway A in reference to an individual in crisis.  The individual was counseled and provided at courtesy ride at their request.  A Crisis Intervention Team report was completed to obtain additional resources for the person.

January 16th, LCSO took a report of a firearm stolen from a Chula resident.  No suspects are known currently, and the investigation continues.

January 19th, deputies responded to the 100 block of North 5th Street in Wheeling in reference to a domestic disturbance.  Contact was made with the persons involved and a report was completed after the incident was determined to be resolved for the night.

January 20th, deputies responded to the 2000 block of LIV 506 for a report of an unresponsive individual.  The Coroner's Office was subsequently contacted as the individual was discovered to be deceased.  Our thoughts remain with the family.

January 22nd, LCSO took a report of harassment from a county resident receiving threatening text messages.  An investigation was completed, and the issue was resolved between the parties involved without criminal charges.

January 27th, deputies assisted Missouri State Highway Patrol with an arrest at the LCSO.

 

Arrests:

January 16th, Robert Jones, 48, Columbia, was arrested on U.S. Highway 36 near LIV 235 for driving while intoxicated and a multitude of other traffic violations.  Jones was transported to Caldwell County Detention Center pending formal charges.

January 21st, April Robb, 36, Chillicothe, was arrested for violation of a court-issued order and resisting arrest in the 300 block of JFK Avenue in Chillicothe.  Robb was processed and transported to Caldwell County Detention Center pending formal charges.

 

Citations:

January 17th, Michael Scott, 35, Springfield, was issued a citation for traveling 82 MPH in a 60 MPH zone on U.S. Highway 65 near State Highway K.

January 21st, Katheryn Ewing, 23, Meadville, was issued a citation for exceeding the posted speed limit 26+ by traveling 86 MPH in a 60 MPH zone on U.S. Highway 65 near State Highway K.

January 24th, Collin Meyers, 19, Battlefield, was issued a citation for traveling 90 MPH in a 65 MPH zone on U.S. 36 near Caldwell County Line.

January 24th, Kenneth Tinsley, 61, Oklahoma, was issued a citation for traveling 73 MPH in a 55 MPH zone.

January 29th, Anthony Pascarelli, 21, North Carolina, was issued a citation for traveling 80 MPH in a 65 MPH zone on U.S. 36 at the Wheeling Junction.
