Reports, Arrests and Citations

 

Incident Reports:


January 15th, deputy responded to the 500 block of Fellows Street in Utica in reference to a 911 hang-up call. Investigation revealed a domestic disturbance had occurred in which one person had dialed 911 and the other fled prior to law enforcement arrival. The caller refused to cooperate with the investigation and contact with the other person involved was attempted but was not successful. A report has been completed and will be submitted to the Prosecuting Attorney's Office for consideration of charges.


January 17th, deputy took a report of a violation of an order of protection occurring in the 14000 block of LIV 2384. Investigation showed a respondent of an order of protection violated terms of the order by gathering livestock from the property. A report was completed to be forwarded to the Prosecuting Attorney's Office for consideration.


January 25th, deputy responded to a report of an unattended death at a county cemetery near Ludlow. Investigation revealed a 62-year-old individual from Ludlow was deceased upon arrival and was located inside of a SUV. A self-inflicted gunshot wound was determined to be the cause of death. Our thoughts are with the deceased individual's family and friends.


January 26th, LCSO took a report of a theft of farm equipment from the 24000 block of LIV 389. The reporting party advised the missing equipment had been located in the driveway of a residence a short way away. Responding deputy made contact with a suspect and the equipment was recovered and given to the rightful owner. Another, smaller piece of equipment is still outstanding but has also possibly been located in another jurisdiction. Report to be submitted to the P.A.'s Office for consideration of charges.


January 27th, LCSO completed an investigation into a violation of a protection order in Utica. Investigation showed a respondent harassed the victim over a voice application. Report to be submitted to the Prosecuting Attorney's Office for consideration.
January 29th, deputy took a report of illegal dumping in the area of LIV 242 and LIV 247. Items included some destroyed mail, spent shotgun shells and an archery target. There are no suspects at this time. Investigation continues.


Arrests:


January 22nd, Michael Holtzclaw, 40, Polo, turned himself into the LCSO on two active arrest warrants. One warrant from Clinton County on case #25CN-CR00304 and one warrant from Livingston County-Chillicothe Municipal Division on case #25CHLMU00008. Holtzclaw posted total bond of $5,250 for both warrants and was released with court dates on both.


Citations:


January 15th, Jaden Funk, 18, Chillicothe, was issued citations for failing to stop at a red light and careless and imprudent driving on Washington Street at Park Lane.


January 17th, Saige Horine, 16, Carrollton, was issued a citation for traveling 48 MPH in a 35 MPH zone on Washington Street at Ryan Lane.


January 17th, Emily Burkholder, 20, Chillicothe, was issued a citation for traveling 57 MPH in a 35 MPH zone on Missouri Highway 190 near Hornet Road.


January 18th, Cooper Narr, 17, Wheeling, was issued a citation for traveling 71 MPH in a 35 MPH zone on Washington Street near Park Lane.


January 23rd, Christopher Hancock, 48, Trenton, was issued a citation for no insurance at Green Street and Graves Street in Chillicothe.


January 29th, Rachel Shryock, 26, Kansas, was issued a citation for traveling 85 MPH in a 65 MPH zone on US 36 near the Grand River.

Many of these traffic violation citations were a result of deputies working on overtime grants provided by the Missouri Department of Transportation.
