The deputy saw the person quickly flee further into the residence once realizing the presence of law enforcement. The door was partially open and the deputy was requesting the subject respond immediately. Upon further investigation it is alleged the suspect ran to the bathroom with controlled substance(s) and flushed the illegal item(s). A report has been completed and will be referred to the prosecuting attorney for consideration of Tampering with Physical Evidence charge. The subject is currently on parole in the State of Missouri for a prior felony drug conviction.

Reminder that ALL persons are innocent unless and until proven guilty in a Court of law. A mere arrest or arrest warrant is only an allegation and nothing more.
